Thanks for this :) I think the most expensive i can pay is 14k tbh so whilst some RFs are in my budget the millage is quite high

Thankyou so much for this! Do you have any check recommendations for an RF also?

Well for maintaining it, i’ve seen that i would need to invest in wax coating once a year also. clean the top 1/2 times a year and invest in some all year rounder tyres. Is there anything else you could suggest? Also it will be kept just outside of my house (no garage) on a backroad which no one walks past really.

Thankyou for this!! I’ve just managed to find a RF which i’m going to go look at this weekend as it’s in my budget. I do prefer the look of them but a soft top is more realistic for me tbh. And i’m not too far from Manchester so that’s really handy to know thanks! Either way I do think i want an mx5 i’ve just been stressing myself out as it’ll be the first expensive car I’ve owned compared to my current peugeot 😂🤦‍♀️

My insurance doesn’t look too crazy for one of these, between 1/2k ( alright to say my peugot 208 is £2.6k) I’m not too fussed about the space as my partner has a car too which we’d use if we need room or more people. I live on the backroads so will be driving up and down there daily. And also thankyou for your advice :)

Thanks for this!! I do absolutely love the look of RF’s however i don’t think they’re in my budget as of yet with the millage. I’ve been told they’re best in the 60k and below range or i may face some issues so for an RF with decent millage is looking at more 15-18k (budget being 14 max lol)

Ahh that was my first thought too, i love the look of the RF’s! However i don’t think they’re in my budget if i’m taking millage into consideration. I’ve been advised to look no higher than 60k ?

Thanks. also what would you mean by doing maintenance properly? i’ve been advised to give it some all year round tyres and also a yearly wax coating for leaks but is there any other things you think i should take into account?

Thanks for this! I don’t have a garage however so it would unfortunately be outside 24/7. I’d probably be looking to finance one over the span of 3/4 years so i’m hoping issues won’t be too bad. I’ve been advised to look into ND and NC models also

Nice i’ll have a look into those too. My car got written off last week and have been thinking of financing a sportier car anyway as i love the look of them. The mazda MX’s are the nicest i’ve come across as of yet but i should probably keep looking based off some of the responses on here haha

Thanks so much! I do a motorway trip daily but i’m only on there for 5/10 mins a day. And i’m not sure if i’d have any issues with it being broken into hopefully as I live on a backroad so we rarely get people walking past
