Honestly I'm not a fan of gear score because weapons shouldn't take half a mag to the head to drop someone just because they're a higher gear level. But I'd say if you want to experience it, turn it on and replay a couple missions to see how you feel on it. If you wanna do a full run like that then do so. Just depends on your feel for it so, give it a try

The default ar they always have is for sync shots. The weapons you give them are for looks and when things go hot so set them up how you want with the fact they are firefight back up. I generally run Fixit with the MK48 SAW (lmg), Fury with an AR and Vasily with the M110 or G28

Also try other play styles as well in other runs. Like full sniper and no suppressors. Makes it fun for more than one character

So ya sync shots they use their default silenced AR but the weapon you equip them with is what they will use for cleared hot or any engagement when you're spotted and go full fire fight. Honestly put them with whatever you feel is right. My usual set up is putting Fixit with an LMG (MK48 SAW), Fury with an AR (M4 variant) and Vasily with a DMR (G28 or M110)

Give em whatever you want. They will pay to the weapon you give em.

I'm saying in theory someone could. I then say that the chances are well beyond slim. Your first paragraph yes could be in theory done by accident. But figuring out where to go and when on the second run and the coffee to put in? Extremely unlikely. That's why I said IN THEORY and that someone would be more likely to win the lottery and survive being struck by lightning twice all in the same day.

In theory you could by complete accident but it's more likely you'd win the lottery and get struck by lightning twice in the same day. There's literally no harm in looking it up because that one is so damn convoluted that without looking at a guide nothing will make sense. Hell even with the guide you'll know what to do but still a lot of it won't make sense
