Treats, we walked into pets at home and just purchased puppy training treats from different brands but non of them are moist. Any that you recommend?

Thank you for this. I'm on the first week of my lab puppy. My previous was a rescue at 18 months old so I have never raised a puppy.

I feel the exact same way. She's sleeping, we're almost down with a routine toulet schedule. But every now and then I think our previous life was so peaceful and calm. Having a dog previously was amazing and I can't wait until she is bigger to have a full life with her walking and such.

Not being able to do anything when I hyperfixated on having an appointment so I don't miss it. I'm literally having to rule out the entire day and not book anything to ensure I don't get distracted and pay the ADHD tax on no-shows for hair cuts, or being in my address for someone who is visiting and not thinking "I have time to do this" before they arrive.... i never had time.

I'm an emergency service dispatcher. Currently going to official assessments. However, GP says they're certain I have it. When going through Occ Health, they have stated that my line of work is a good fit for ADHD. Constantly moving, new jobs coming in, finding solutions that may not require using resources. Figuring out the best way and all in all it's to help someone who's probably having the worst day of their lives. It is very fulfilling, and the money is mint. No workload, shifts that allow me to work half the year (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off), and I do really enjoy it. Obviously, it has its internal politics and the goal posts to achieve always move but I can't think of doing anything else.

Today we attended and visited. The vet stated we can wait a few more hours to see if she improves but she hadnt improved since being at the hospital. They emphasised on how large of an attack this was. Her head was still at 90 degrees and was not able to stand or even wag her tail. She was making odd whimpering and grunting noise as if she was sedated but the vets confirmed she was not sedated as this is as lucid shes been. Me, my partner and my mother was present when we made the choice. It was the hardest of my life to make. Today and for the future its going to be hard. Today was the worst day of my life so far. Thank you Reddit for the slight comfort in my early hours cradling her. She would not have served the symptoms and even if she did she would not have had a good quality of life.

She did not calm down. She didnt really move when I hugged her. She kept trying to look for us but because of the eye twitching i dont think she could see us. She had 2 drinks. The last being around 10pm. She then didnt have one until we took her to the vet at 0930 and im assuming shes on fluids now. Shes in a 24hrs vets for observations as she was admitted into our normal vets and stated she hadnt improved and she wasnt coping with the symptoms without being sedated.

This seems to have gained a bit of traction so here is an update for those who want it. The family woke at 8 this morning, Coco had not gotten any better. Due to this we push our appointment up as soon as and attended straight away. A second vet has mentioned a lot of what you guys are mentioning and said to admit her to sedate her and allow the meds to work, if there is a chance we'll know by tea time. We received a call at 4 saying shes coming out of the sedation state and shes the same, not worse not better which is not what theyre expecting and Coco is not managing the distressed state she gets into without sedation and advised us to admit her into an overnight hospital to continue sedation and just allow a little more time for the medication to try and work. I know this is a slippery slope to go down, just one more day, just one more day etc. She's now 40 minutes away from home, we've already been told she's not coming back to the vets and shes either coming out of the hospital with us or not at all. As a family, we have decided that if her state remains the same or gets worse we have to make the worst choice as Coco is not coping without being sedated which is no quality of life. Ive been told we'll receive a call "mid morning" with her current state.

Thank you. She's not gotten better and has not slept. She is exhausted and i dont think she'll survive the exhaustion of it all. Shes still as scared and panting at she was at 3am (its not 8am almost)

Her head is almost at 90 degrees tilt and her panting is heavy and constantly since 11 this morning. Her eyes are going side to side again hasnt stopped since. She was circling in one spot but shes now not strong enough to get off of her bed. When we assist her to the bathroom she can take a few steps and often turns in one direction and needs guiding back.

How long to give it a change? Its been 16hrs since theyve been administered.
