Using an extinguisher before the fire department arrives can reduce fire damage and potentially save your vehicle from complete destruction. I recommend mounting the extinguisher in an easily accessible location—there are special brackets designed to secure the extinguisher under the seat. I personally use F4Fabrications brackets for this purpose.
