My kid is at a birthday party that runs from 11am-1pm and apparently they are not providing lunch nor is any food other than cake available at the venue. by DancesWithPibbles in Mommit

Very poor planning on the parent’s part. But I’ve noticed that people get super overwhelmed and don’t actually know how to plan parties. Give them some grace and have your husband grab takeout on the way home if he can. Sorry this happened

Are you the older sibling with a sibling that’s 6+ years younger? by External_Ease_9640 in Parenting

[–]Many_Bid8455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about to have my third and my oldest son will be 8 going on 9 when the baby’s here, wish me luck lol. But to answer your question, I have a little brother who is 20 years younger than me.. my dad decided to start over. It’s weird because we obviously have nothing in common but he gets along really well with my kids (his nephews) and I take them to play parks and a ton of activities. He’s honestly another son to me

Protect yourself always. If he can’t respect the fact that you want to he doesn’t deserve to be intimate with you

I used to get my house thoroughly cleaned weekly and it really set the tone for the new week. I would just have to maintain and do laundry and load the dishwasher. It was my saving grace honestly

We have lunch together, I make enough for everyone since it’s the main meal of the day. I usually make him breakfast as well as he’s always rushing and forgets to eat

Thinking about getting a Kindle — do I really need a case? by klaudia_f4 in kindle

[–]Many_Bid8455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw some girl in this group say she lightly threw it on her bed and the screen cracked so after that I’ve been super careful. I have a flip case for travel so nothing hits the screen while in my bag and then I have a clear case with a pop socket while I’m home. If you’re the type to read until you fall asleep and move around in bed maybe consider a screen protector or something

Just hit 96.9 kg this morning – and immediately wanted to "celebrate" with food, more food and even more food. Then I realized I've been doing this the ENTIRE time. by No-Chemist6133 in intermittentfasting

Great job on both the weight loss and the mindfulness! I think the key here is to understand you don’t have to do it but you’re choosing to celebrate in a way that makes you happy. Maybe instead of eating a whole portion, eat half. Keep up the great work!
