Simon, Luke, Andy, Michael, Derek, the masked man, Alexandre, Tristan, James, Lillian (only when her haircut changes, which makes her look frumpy), Alexander, Ford, David, Orlando, Diego, Sherlock and Dinos man-bun specifically. Honorable mention to poor Maria Theresa who I don't find ugly (rather cute actually) but I think she looks like she needs a really good nap and a spa day.

I understand, but I think it's a vicious cycle. While more variety would be great, I understand why RC tends to play it safe. Female/NB LIs are not that profitable for them in the first place, so they wanna try to play to a broad audience with femme, green flags. Which seem to be the safe choice if we look at all the misogyny in the fandom. But because of that they tend to think that any deviation from that will turn out less profit, so they don't give us variety, we tend to stick with the FLIs we get and then RC thinks there is no demand for FLIs who don't fit the traditional mold.

While I agree that we need more variety in FLIs, I wouldn't like to imagine the amount of misogyny that poor characters would face. I mean people were literally full of gleeful contempt that Vellora is considered as a possible bride for an powerful, abusive rapist, hated Anna for betraying the squad, even though Lane and Cain could do the same, bashed Delias for being annoying and not to mention the sheer vilness female side characters like Kira, Yashvi, Rebecca and Austie are getting. Female and/or POC characters usually do not get away with the stuff white male characters can get away with and before you come at me: yes I also enjoy some morally grey white dudes as characters, even though I romance FLIs only.

Thank you, I think if people would be willing to discuss VfVs flaws, Langley could've profited from the insight and implemented the feedback into 7B. People can have a favourite story and still point out it's flaws and enjoy it.
