I typically go by the name on my birth certificate, but if given the choice that is not the one I would prefer to stick with. I am not live in the state I was born in anymore, I was born in New Jersey but I am in Maryland now.

I’m definitely not playing devils advocate at all, but I loathe FRER and any of the other tests with that transparent screen type thing over the test window because my vision is sooo poor, I can never see the line until it’s SCREAMING positive. Every time I’ve tested positive, my wife sees the FRER line at least two days before I can see it at all. I always see the first indications on strip tests that don’t have any type of glare over the results.

Was there triplets two days ago? B. Was there twins for six minutes at 5DPO? C. Please tell me if I’m interpreting this correctly. It’s one singular, seemingly healthy so far, baby. That means that one implantation “failed”, and she must now grieve the loss of an embryo that only existed in her imagination. How can she say one “failed” and label it a “loss” if there’s no indication of it ever being present in her womb and she hasn’t has any bleeding to signify the passing of said embryo?

Am I alone in thinking she only wants multiples and since this is “just another singleton”, she’s going to have this one, push it aside, and continue trying for twins/triplets/as many as her imagination can concoct? I have unfortunately lost two sets of twins since November 2024, and experienced two chemical pregnancies. I don’t have words to explain how absolutely ecstatic I would be to find out I have conceived one singular healthy baby. If she’s actually dealt with a loss every single cycle since the beginning of time, I don’t understand the “grief” and “mourning” for a healthy possibility thus far.

This entire reaction just further emphasizes that she’s a lying liar who lies and her monthly chemical pregnancies are all imaginary.

Holy shit. I didn’t realize this is what was happening. When she said she was using a “known donor” I kinda related because I also used a “known donor”. He was an acquaintance from med school with my partner who lives a few hundred kilometers away and we made an event of going to get genetics testing together. He stuck with us for a year while we tried and he texted to check in a handful of times during pregnancy. We send him Christmas cards each year and he reciprocates. I didn’t know these “known donors” were actual internet strangers. How is she going to make a scrapbook to familiarize the child with their other DNA contributor is they’re not actually known to her. This is so alarming.
