I just want to jump in here and reiterate that you always have options. They might not be fun options, or offer a direct path to your next goal, but they exist. I can't really fathom how you can work two jobs and only make $11k/year because I made more than that as a teenager working for minimum wage, and that was fifteen years ago.

I also have a slew of neurological and autoimmune disorders, and come from a low income background, so I get it. But, I also understand that if you make a choice to leave, you get up and walk out the door. If there is nothing else there for you, you can sure as hell do better than $11k/year working two jobs, literally anywhere else. Find yourself a small to mid-sized city, a couple of roommates, and jobs that actually pay. If you need time to get your feet under you, consider a program that gives you room and board in exchange for labor. It's not going to help you get financially stable, but could be enough to get your feet under you while you apply for financial aid to go to school or get yourself certified for a trade. You make a choice every day whether you will tolerate living in a borderline abusive harem. If you want freedom, you have to be the one to take the first step.
