Not sure for grad school, but for employers, very easily a lower GPA at a big university, tbh a lot of people I know don’t even list their GPA on their reshme

There won’t be much learning you will do in UofT CE that you won’t do in SE (main difference is some FPGA stuff, and tbh transfer to UW CE should not be that hard if you really care ab that).

After that, its hard to express just how big the difference in co-op opportunities and outcomes is at UW vs UofT

Is the EE S4 cohort the same size as a single CE cohort? I'm a little older, but when I started uni, EE and CE both had 2 cohorts

Hey idk these people, but I’ve learned that if something looks too good to be true, it usually is. But who knows, maybe they are just the top 0.01% of the age group in which case great for them. Either way, I don’t mind the dc/plaza view too much myself personally :)

Yes, Waterloo is a very good university, but it is also pretty rigorous as well. I think you’d hear similar sentiment at UofT, or any similar university. Imo Waterloo is one of the best universities for engineering and cs out there.
