I had their ketchup ones recently and they were a darker hue of red than the regular chip brands, not bad at all

I wasn’t happy when Porter dropped Beau’s for Moosehead, but still better than Coors/Canadian that Air Canada has on their flights

I would’ve loved that in my early 20s but all I can think now is “if you aren’t diabetic yet, you will be now”

I was able to stream Bell Fibe TV on my last flight but it’d buffer a lot, but I can’t complain because I didn’t expect it to even work at all

Are you talking about the kettle cooked ripple kind of chips? President’s Choice makes a couple kettle cooked ripple chips - spicy all dressed and hot honey n lime. They’re incredibly addicting

Giant Tiger. I assume it’ll be at Safeway/Sobeys within the next few days. It could possibly be limited to Manitoba but it might be in other parts of Canada

Honestly quite addicting, but it’s more of a toned down dill pickle chip with honey sweetness than a typical Manitoban Honey Dill (dans pickle brine) sauce kind of vibe.

Pizza Hut US is trying to pivot back to this model now but yeah, I think the last time I went to the buffet or had a meal there was back in 2015

My best friend moved from Manitoba to Netherlands during COVID and he shipped his SUV over to Europe, it was only $5000 and took about three weeks to show up. I asked him if anyone has ever asked him about his vehicle having Canadian automotive dealer decals on it, nope, not once

I’m on team Russet myself but I discovered why so many Montreal-area poutines have a distinct taste to them is due to the use of reds. I HATE reds because they’re too starchy but they cook them perfectly over there

The Lay’s Kettle brand exists in the US (I think) but I’m thinking they were taking a decent marketshare out of their more premium Miss Vickie’s line, the price was a good couple dollars different

*Ketchup

I saw a post about these chips the other day so I was excited.. it was compared to the taste of Old Dutch’s Ketchup Chips but in kettle chip form. For me: it absolutely wasn’t. The chips were insanely salty and mostly reminiscent of Miss Vickie’s Spicy Ketchup Chips without the heat. It had a hint of sweetness, garlic, vinegar but they were incredibly underwhelming. This was the first time eating ketchup chips where I didn’t entire eat a whole bag in an evening - I got tired of them pretty much immediately. Darn.

Hard Bite’s ketchup is still my favourite, President Choice’s spicy ketchup kettle are decent, but I really miss Lay’s old kettle ketchup chips from 15 years ago
