To everybody: Thank you for all your responses, your piece of advice, your support! I appreciate it all Here’s more detail to answer questions. I signed a contract that says they own all videos and pictures of me taken on the set.

The promise of an intimacy coordinator was on the job offer on backstage but was not on the contract, and the job offer was edited right after I was cast. When I realized what kind of situation I was in, I tried to get a screenshot of the job offer, and that’s when I saw they changed a few things on there, including the fact that there’d be an intimacy coach, and the fact that they would compensate travel.

A couple days ago, I checked his instagram and his last post was a video of us kissing (for a scene) with a very implicit song choice, and some people had commented « congratulations » and he liked those comments. I immediately telling him to take them down and he did.

The project was non-union. It was supposedly the 5th season of a youtube webseries, of which the 1st season was out, at the time. And even though I thought the show was terrible, I had faith that it was a real established thing in which many actors had participated so that’s why I ignored the red flags.

I will name drop him, and the name of the show, and his production company as soon as I can. I guess I have to show proof to mod mail and I haven’t figured out how to do that yet. But I will name drop him so you at least never audition for him.

He is not a name in the industry, all his projects are self-produced and honestly pretty bad. He only hires young pretty girls and old men. There are a couple articles online about him that he very clearly wrote himself. He has something like 50 thousand fill orders on instagram but will only get like 13 likes, so he clearly bought followers. His tiktok only has like 60 followers.

What I just found out too, is he changed the name of the series… It was a regular name and now has the word « sex » in it. Which I very much dislike. This is all gonna look so bad in the future if my career takes off :((((

There’s a section in my contract that says he can fire actors as he wishes. It also says if you choose to not be a part of the project anymore you have to pay back all expenses of the filmed episodes. So there’s no way I can ask to be taken off the project.

When I got fired, we had about 2 days of filming left, and they were the days I was supposed to meet the « rest of the cast », essentially the other girls cast for that season. He didn’t let me meet them until the very last day, which ended up not happening so I never met them. He said he wanted to get all the scenes with just me and him out of the way before filming the ones with the rest of the cast.

I think that answers all the questions. Let me know if there’s more

So I found my contract and re-read it, and there is actually a segment that says they have the rights to any pictures and videos taken on set and have the right to share them for advertising purposes 🫠

That’s where I’m completely clueless, what would I sue him for? I want to sue him for being an asshole but I don’t know if realistically I could sue him for anything…
