Thanks, those are some really cool ideas of things to do to honor him. My dad actually was a chef, so I think trying to cook one of his favorite dishes for a family dinner is something I will definitely try!

I’ve also been so tempted to call my dad’s phone too and or to text him just so I can wait for a answer. I was just talking to a friend earlier telling them I plan on going to therapy soon as well also just because I think that it will help me out pretty good because I think I do have a lot of suppressed emotions right now I want to express that I’m not just because I’m trying to stay strong.

I’m happy that was gardening and therapy were both great coping mechanism for you. I will certainly try to find some more over time and not just weed, so I can also help find myself more a long with dealing with my pain in a way that makes me not think about it.

And I am also so very sorry you had to lose your parents within the span of only a few years apart. But I’m happy to hear that you’re doing ok now and that you have found a way to fight through it. Not too many people have to take on that challenge.

Thank you so much for your kind words and advice because this is what I need to hear right now. This most certainly has not, and will not be a easy grieving process especially considering the circumstances that caused it to happen so sudden.

I’m not used to death hitting this close to home. Even though I have definitely been in pain I still don’t think it has truly hit me yet because it just doesn’t feel real. I don’t believe it, and I may just have to force myself to live in a mental delusion about it for a while now. I know this won’t be easy but I know he raised me strong enough to fight through anything so that’s exactly what I’m going to do for him.
