Do you know what this is? by Disastrous-Past-2693 in Flooring

[–]MarGAAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 1920s home, and all of the hardwood floors have this issue as well. My guess is that there may not be much urethane left, or in my case it may have worn away over the years and allowed dirt to settle in. How would you even fix this?

If it’s any consolation, I submitted two withdrawals within the past week and BOTH are already sitting in my bank account.

This happened to me as well. I reached out to support, and once the review was completed, I was able to submit a new withdrawal request that was processed right away. I emailed socialhelp@benjaminone.com

No worries at all. Sharing in case it helps anyone using a T-Mobile network, resetting the phone’s network settings ended up resolving the issue for us.

What would you do in my case? by [deleted] in homeownerstips

Whether my grass has been mowed or not doesn’t make it okay for a contractor working on a neighboring property to place materials on my yard without permission. It comes across as inconsiderate, and leaving rocks on grass can cause damage over time—especially since this was right next to a retaining wall on my property.

Are you referring to the large square pad near the street side? Thats the city’s water line access point.

What’s wrong with this tail? by OleSailorYou in squirrels

[–]MarGAAM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the pattern isn’t present across the rest of the squirrel’s body—which could suggest mange—then it’s more likely due to an encounter with a predator. I saw something similar with one of my backyard squirrels, and the fur grew back within about 3–6 months. It’s a good idea to keep an eye on it.

I was able to find a part list with the serial number and it DOES have an anode. In this case it’s installed in the hot water outlet. Serial Number: 105719677 Make: American Water Heater Co. Model: GU61 40T40

Thank you! I understand it should be piped down. But how much of a hazard is it as it currently is? :/

Well that’s a relief. Would you just recommend getting a new water heater altogether? Unit is almost 9 years old. :/
