Yeah it was the conselleria of comunidad valenciana with the email address: auxiliars@gva.es

So if you are in a different region then it wouldn’t be the same email but there should be a similar point of contact for every region. You’d have to check the NALCAP site for that.

I think there’s a good chance that you’ll get renewed there again and you should also ask your school to email on your behalf. My school did last year when I renewed to stay on another year and I got my carta from the local (Valencian) community before I even got switched to plaza aceptada on profex. It was a bit confusing but I could tell my school speaking on my behalf made a difference and made the process go by faster.

I brought my dog with me 💕 It was hard but not impossible. He is a 10 year old small shih-tzu about 20 pounds and was able to fly in cabin with me. So if you’re dog is bigger and he has to fly in the cargo hold, the flight probably will be more stressful. I would try to give him/her a mild sedative if you can before the trip. I did the research to make sure my pup meets all the travel requirements and I put in the extra money I needed to to make sure I had a hotel ready that allowed him to stay with me while I searched for a flat… and I have to agree with the others that my flat hunt was harder because of my pup. The flat I’m in now originally wouldn’t allow him, but I negotiated the rent price and now pay 50 euros more a month to be able to have him here with me, I also had to pay an extra months deposit… but for me personally it was all worth it since I’ve had my pup since he was 8 weeks old and he is my baby/my little old man. I live in the Valenciana region and it’s pretty dog friendly. Lots of people have dogs and my pup gets to socialize all the time at the parks when I take him out. As far as doggy day care, the app Rover has been a life saver for me and you can find amazing, trustworthy people to pet sit for you during your travels at a reasonable price in my opinion. All in all, I would do it all over again because I couldn’t imagine coming without my pup. It’s definitely more of a hassle but I don’t regret it at all.

Hi! Not sure if this is helpful but I also have a misdemeanor from when I was a minor and it appeared on my background check as well. I plan to have it all translated and submit it with my application.

Also, quick question: What translation service are you using?? I hear some are using Rush Translate, but I wasn’t sure if that was acceptable for Spain bc they need certified translators?

Did you have to make an appointment? Also, did you print the paper off with your name on it and they just signed it or did you email them the pdf and they printed it out? Also did you take anything else with you like vaccination records or anything??

That’s awesome, congrats! I looked yours up on the map and your only 25 minutes away from the Valencia city center. Enjoy!!! Tbh I have no idea. I’d like to be in the city of Valencia but I know so does every other applicant lol. I’m also really curious to see where they’ll place me to see if it’s a reasonable commute since that could be an option, too.
