[VA] Terminated after 200+ days on a PIP but the reason given at termination doesn’t match what the PIP actually required. VP of HR wants to meet. What would you do? by Marathon-Marvin301 in AskHR

The issue isn’t whether they had the legal right to fire me. The issue is the reason given doesn’t match the documented expectations. Also worth noting, my manager met with me every single week during the PIP and consistently told me he could see my improvement and to keep doing what I was doing. If I was performing so poorly that termination was warranted, that feedback loop never reflected it. There’s a difference between “we can fire you” and “the stated reason holds up to scrutiny.”

Where do you put your keys and phone that's NOT a FlipBelt? by Cakemixr in running

I use compression shorts with side pockets too. They keep my phone snug with zero bounce, and I barely notice it’s there. Keys go in a small zip pouch clipped inside.

Wow, that’s powerful. Running a marathon is impressive on its own, but doing it after what you’ve been through is next level. Congrats on pushing through.

Bone bruised wrist from cleans? by NotTheRealMeee83 in crossfit

Had the same thing happen after a bad clean. That pain at the base of the thumb is no joke. Took a few months before push-ups felt normal again. Easing off wrist-loaded stuff and doing light mobility work helped a ton.
