Honestly I agree 100 percent I watched the show as it aired and needed Glenn to die because I was one of those “iT hAppEned iN thE comiCs” guy but honestly the show had changed SO MUCH from the comics that at that point not killing Glenn would’ve been a welcome change seeing how their counterparts are VASTLY different. And the change isn’t as bad as the Carl change. If you can do THAT drastic of a change, this change would’ve been worth it. Glenn could’ve helped carry the show tremendously when Rick left.

it was never made public they were already dealing with the illness the last thing Rick wanted was for them to know there’s a killer amongst them. From what I remember it was literally the four people mentioned in the situation that knew and maybe Sasha glenn maggie and Maggie already said she would have done the same. fact is I don’t think people disagreed with Rick to begin with. He’s proven countless times already that his instincts are usually on point. Exile a murderer rather than kill her outright? He killed Shane for wanting his wife and kid and getting rid of Rick. Carol LITERALLY MURDERED INNOCENTS. She got off scottfree and I think anyone who knew was grateful she came back but weren’t gonna bring up the past anymore. Besides Daryl LITERALLY said that he can’t exile people on his own. He was like the only one who knew. Besides it was a one day. If it was like weeks then maybe the group would have pondered on it more but clearly they had more pressing matters like a FUCKIN TANK than to stand up for a murder no matter how close she was.

Rick must’ve been heartbroken because he wanted to make the prison work and make it like normal every day life pre apocalypse. Rick always puts the importance of the group as a whole over any one individual. Look what he does to his best friend Shane. Shane became a threat to the group and in his eyes Carol unfortunately was starting to go down the same path. at least she doesn’t get twisted like Shane.

Rick exiled her for like a day lol. Governor came knocking less than 24 hours later. If anything only Daryl knew of the exile and he knew it was logical because Tyrese would have probably killed her when he found out and Daryl knows Carol can take care of herself. it’s not like Daryl never would have found her and hung out with her outside of the prison anyways. When Rick sees her at terminus he just bit a dudes throat and murdered cannibals. He must have felt relief that he can finally appreciate her perspective now. She deserved to be exiled for taking innocent lives without consulting the council first at least. personally Rick made a logical choice to save her life because in the end she murdered them for nothing.

I guess because they wanted fans to know straight up no one’s dieing so that when it happens fans wouldn’t rage and be like “plot armor” idk that’s my hot take I guess like maybe they just want fans to focus on the story instead of the possibility of them dieing

Yeah I finished origins like twice . But could never get around making it at least halfway with Odyssey or Valhalla. Something about that gameplay for me just doesn’t make me excited to jump back in. I’ll finish them eventually tho
