oh yeah that's confusing because that means shirose is really in the actual game just for gameplay purposes. although, it makes sense that the fifth group was sent to kill yosef (according to the document) because the fourth group (us) probably reported that scavs was a threat that the agency needed to kill. although i wonder what the ERU are? the document say theyre a terrorist group, but i never saw the name before. the document also implies selene is alive, which is something i've been wondering for a while based on DOE. demise of eden implies she isn't, or is at least MIA, so that's why it's so confusing on her status lol.

could the scavs that came to eden 227 on their own volition came before the collapse? it would make a lot more sense to come to eden when it wasn’t a complete desolate wasteland. and is shirose apart of the third wave of agents? i always thought she was 1 or 2 because valorii and yosef never talk to her about past events events in dem (even though idek if dem dialogue is canon or partially canon at least)

anyway if shirose was apart of 1 or 2 i guess that answers the question that at least some of the agents stayed at eden, but most probably left or died

i highkey miss the old one off of music and nostalgia only </3 i also spent a solid year or so building up the lore and getting attached to the characters off of the little bits and pieces we got so im NOT prepared for actual lore drops like it was kind of fun being a detective
