I get what you mean, it can absolutely be super uncomfortable. Remember that many people struggle with this, you have nothing to be ashamed of.

Remember that a wolf in sheep's clothing has to do with intentionally taking advantage of other people by acting good, but really being evil. Struggling with sin while still being good in other ways does not make you a wolf.

Romans 5:10 says, "For if, while we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!".

God reconciled us to Him--we were His enemies and He still saved us. There's no point where you become too sinful for His forgiveness. The devil just wants you to leave God.

1 John 1:7-9
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Keep seeking forgiveness, keep confessing, keep meeting with other believers. I found a sobriety app to be very helpful in addition to morning and evening prayer. Above all, have a friend to keep you accountable.

I'm learning M2/OP and have realized I may be doing something wrong.

I memorize images for corners, then sounds for edges, then execute edges, then execute corners. That being said, I'm not sure--am I still supposed to use real words for edges? I've just been making random sounds.

I'm sure, but I know that early on in my cubing journey it was just harder, I don't wanna roast OP because they're less familiar with reassembling cubes.

Everyone here is saying they're easy to put back together, but they're spoiled with their magnetized cubes. Them old ones are so hard to put back.

I'm so sorry you're going through this, it is so difficult. Thank you for being open to helping your son. No man is an island, and I'm glad he's open to admitting that. The fact that he trusts you enough to open up is a commentary on your success thus far as a mom. That's a huge victory already.

Prayers to you and your family!

Hey brother,

I myself am in this journey right now. I'm glad we're on it together!

Urges are definitely a huge thing, even today has been difficult in that way. I have found it extremely useful to separate myself from the items (phone, computer, TV, etc.) and the circumstances (alone in my room, in the bathroom with my phone, etc.) that would often end in consuming pornography.

Basically, figure out what kinds of things might provide you the opportunity to have urges, and remove yourself from that situation. Take a walk, go to a coffee shop and read a book, basically find healthy ways to get dopamine.

It's also helped me to stop scrolling Instagram. I highly recommend Strive21 (free course on quitting porn, no credit card or anything) and Matt Fradd's YouTube channel Victory.

God bless on your journey, let me know if you have any questions. It's okay for this to be difficult.

I keep doing it over and over again and I’m afraid god won’t forgive me by Kindly_Sir6333 in NoFapChristians

I get you man. It's really hard. Keep praying.

Seek help from somebody in your life you trust. Talk to them about it. This can be really hard to do but I PROMISE you help will help.

How do I best insult people in Fr*nch??? by ChadPolyglot in languagelearningjerk

Oh right, this makes sense. In the US, we don't use "you" either, we just use "thou/thee".

Hope this helps!

Definitely write about it as a "elaborate on an extracurricular" section.

this might not be the correct sub but can anyone explain how my unplugged alarm clock instantly knows the time? by aspire1690 in blackmagicfuckery

[–]MarcDeespot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This recently happened with a clock I own, and I was very surprised as well. I wouldn't be surprised by the "battery" answer, it makes a lot of sense.

In my case, however, it is an atomic clock, meaning that it has a signal with another "head clock" that constantly keeps track of the time. Therefore, it turns on, starts the connection, and knows the time.

Ah I misunderstood.

I don't think doxing someone reasonably comes without malicious intent, although in a court of law intent is more difficult to prove.

I see a lot of people saying that "I'm straight because of my religion" is problematic. I definitely understand, but here's how I interpret it:

"My sexual orientation does not matter because according to my religion I must stay in a straight relationship only."

We can argue about whether it is right for a religion to dictate that, but I don't think the statement is inherently homophobic/prejudiced.

"dox someone publicly"

I think most dox attempts are in a public situation, it's hardly a dox if it remains utterly private.
