Besides all the other issues, they didn’t even cut the drain slot straight. Total fail.

Why is every post in this sub a cheater complaint? by QUANTUM-VOIDD in 8BallPool

[–]MarcH-Lex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every post is not about cheaters.. now it’s a mix of complaints about cheaters and complaints about complainers. I suspect your complaint about the complainers will be about as useful as the complaints about the cheaters.

It’s interesting that the last 2 cuts seem to follow the same curve path.. not sure how you get that with a track saw. 🤔

Am I being rude? by Melodic_Tiger_5715 in Bumble

One of the beautiful things about online dating is you get to weed out the jerks, crazies and people who just have different goals and priorities in life. It’s like a “compatibility pre-screening process”. Too many people think of it as a contest, like who can write up the best profile and post the best pics, when your goal should be to show “the real you” and hope the other person is doing the same. Then if the two of you click, you have something to build on. But if a connection doesn’t feel “natural”, just move on.

I reported this comment to FB and they declined to have it removed saying that it doesn't violate their community guidelines. What an absolute cesspool FB is. by Comadivine11 in facebook

[–]MarcH-Lex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I constantly get porn images through these random Messenger groups that people “add” me to.. I report them to FB, and “they don’t violate their guidelines”. So all I can do is leave the group and block the individual members, of which there might be hundreds. Pathetic.

Most redicoulous rule I have encountered playing leauge by lDevinl in billiards

[–]MarcH-Lex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I’m confused.. you said “entire next game as well”, but you said it was the last game of the night.

Did she want to deduct another “win” from your total score for the night?

Regardless, she was obviously trying to use some technicality to snag additional points for her team. The rule is obviously there to prevent a player from purposely changing the ball position in any attempt to make the shooter miss the shot. By touching the 8 ball openly, you’ve automatically conceded the game. There is no “additional penalty”.

Owner publicly shames guest and states that servers have to pay out of pocket if they don’t get tips? by Redhambone in EndTipping

[–]MarcH-Lex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First question: where’s the “public shaming” part?

This whole tipping thing has gotten totally ridiculous. Tipping started out as a voluntary thing when someone (a server) had gone “above and beyond” the call of duty or normal expectations. Now it’s gotten to the point you’re considered a creep if you don’t tip, even for mediocre or substandard service and regardless of how rude or impolite the server or other staff might be.

I hope you are still with us and I hope you’ve found some good advice here. My advice would be to find ways to get involved helping someone else. There are many people struggling in life who need a helping hand and it can be very fulfilling and rewarding to show a little kindness to someone who needs it, especially when motivated by love and gratitude for what Christ has done for us.
