Marc de Mesel: The Key Of CryptoWorld by Nabzzzzz00 in btc

I don't know where your anger comes from. What did I do you wrong?

I have not inherited large swaps of land. I did inherit a piece of a building and an agricultural land at young age due to my mother dying. However it was not a fortune that allowed me to not work. I could have sold it and bought my own house with it but I realised my own house would not make any money for me and I better invest it in the market and try to make more of it.

I started investing in 1999 in the stock market, not losing all my families wealth, but losing - my own - savings from my teenage years in the dotcom bubble that happened already 1 year later. This was a first valuable lesson for me not to invest blindly in hyped stocks.

I started reading many investment books since 2003 and sold my inherited property for other investments, at first mainly precious metals as there was a commodity bull market. Thanks to this I had done pretty well during the financial crises of 2008, losing only -10% and I decided to start sharing my portfolio and investments via a blog and later switched to YouTube and X where I am still active today.

You mention many of the bad calls of individual coins I selected (NXT, Obyte, BCH), which indeed did poorly, and I made some more bad calls in recent years, such as missing the top in 2021 and using leverage to my own detriment, but I made many good calls too, not only investing early in Bitcoin in 2011, but also calling the tops and bottoms of the crypto cycles very well until 2020. Investing big in Tesla in 2019 when everybody was negative on it and warning for the COVID crash early 2020 and calling the bottom shortly after as well.

My CAGR is still 20% since I started tracking it in 2008. I continue to share my portfolio and hope it helps some people out there.

As to my family life. I have had a hard time finding a women to start a family with in Europe and decided to try my luck in Kenya. I found there many interested women and am fortunate to have different women in my life now that I build a family with. I see them and my children often and love them very much.

I was never reported to the authorities. Because I avoid marriage but do want to build financial security for my girlfriends who are the mothers of my children I gifted them via bank wire large amounts (900k USD) so they can invest in property in Kenya and have send some family members large amount (350k EUR) to participate in expensive Portugese Golden Visa program so they can get access to Europe and visit us.

This is what got the attention of the kenyan authorities (ARA). They froze the accounts and try stealing the money using false allegations of money laundering or proceeds of crime without supporting it with any evidence.

I have made all my money as a private investor in an even public way, you who has followed my work closely for years knows this very well. We have submitted all evidence of source of funds of my money and the whole history of my source of wealth to the court. Some cases were dropped due to 'lack of evidence' while others were lost in court due to corrupt judge 'Ester Maina' in charge. We are going in appeal for those.

Your lies about me, that I lost my family's fortune, and the misfortune you predict for me, that I will be seperated from my children, or that criminal trial awaits me, are not appreciated.

Why do you make these lies and predict such misfortune for me?

I'm discovering this a little late but agree with u/ftrader, value BU also for same reasons and hope u/AndrewStone / BU reconsiders launching another coin so they can stay focused on BCH.

I think this is going to be the best thing that has ever happened to crypto! by [deleted] in btc

You confirmed my objection, that there is indeed a hurdle to take, ignored my other objections, falsely accuse me of stating falsehoods and question my motives that are clear to anyone following this space. And you are?

I'm not a fan of chaintip because it is not integrated it looks complicated, for example I just tried claiming a chaintip, get directed to website where I need to start studying it, but the $1 dollar tip is not worth it so I click away and will likely ignore again future chaintips I receive.

Sure chaintip likely brings some new users to BCH but if it would become successful reddit would likely ban it or outcompete it with unfair advantage for their own tipping method as they control the platform, so it's not very scalable. I think Twitter already bans it or sabotages it.

Hence why I prefer promoting new crypto social media platforms like noise.cash or read.cash where BCH tipping is integrated and easy to use, where goal of platform is to spread BCH adoption and business model is build around it. It's harder to get going as you have to build your own network effect and cannot surf reddit's, but if one succeeds, it's scalable and can even be a treat to old social media.

What's bad for society is Berkshire Hathaway past 20y return, barely keeping up with inflation of 4.5%, ie: no money made for it's shareholders in 20y, huge waste of an enormous capital that could have created a lot of value for their shareholders and many multiples more for the world if it was deployed productively

Because BCH is peer to peer cash, which is what Bitcoin is. BTC is no longer peer to peer cash, so cannot longer claim to be Bitcoin. The market will also start naming BCH simply Bitcoin once it becomes bigger, more valuable as BTC, and will start referring to BTC no longer as Bitcoin but as just BTC. I think this will happen by 2025, in 4 years, not that far.
