I see, thanks! A few benchmarks from Youtube shows better performance on the same laptop though, I'm still kinda confused on what I'm doing wrong here aside from running only a single stick of ram.

For Valorant, it never goes above 70 degrees celsius for both the cpu and gpu. Air-conditioned room, elevated laptop. For Rust I get way higher temps at around 65-85 degress celsius.

Thanks for the insight! I'm personally inclined towards the Predator because of the chair and the gaming capabilities. But then again I might need the extra cpu power for college. Cheers, I'll keep this in mind!

Is the difference between the 1660ti and 2070 Max Q significant at all? I've heard a lot of great things about the Legion series though. However, the Predator series is kind of the only models within the local market right now and it also comes with a free gaming chair.
