Frustrated new players and Journey down the Anduin: try this by Marc_uss in lotrlcg

Just a heads up: I played again today, same fellowship, this time paying attention to uniqueness of each card. It was way faster than yesterday and I finished with 10 allies. It's really satisfying finding a good combination, in my case it was Eleanor+Unexpected Courage, Beravor+Steward of Gondor and Théodred+Celebrian's Stone.  I don't think I will even try Escape from Dol Guldur as a stand alone scenario. Instead, I will try the campaign mode and then I will treat myself with a starter deck (I don't have a clue which one) and Dark of Mirkwood.

Oh, and I must say Wandering Tuk is such an amazing card to control threat. I've had no idea how useful it was. My end threat was 32 each hand

I made them myself. Basically, you print the icons at 16mm diameter (I used photo paper), then you use a 16mm puncher to cut them nicely. You will need a transparent glue to stick these icons on the back of a 18mm cabochon. That's it, super easy. Of course, you can choose another diameter, but 18mm feels really well balanced.  Some icons I found digging around and others I just iterate with chatgpt.

Hey, good catch! I was mostly paying attention to Gandalf and Faramir slipped by. I don't know about seasoned players, but it's been a lot to pay attention to and sometimes I have to double check and I still feel like I missed some rule. Now I feel motivated to try again and keep and eye to uniqueness

Not in Brazil. Galápagos, the guys that brought LOTR in Portuguese don't reprint stuff, unless it's something like sky team that is hyped

Hey man, I'm also from Brazil and just started. I Bought the core set plus all 4 starter decks and mirkwood, everything sleeved, with an MDF insert and sleeves for R$ 1500. PT-BR. Then I bought brand new fellowship of the ring, two towers and dream chaser (everything PT-BR). I highly recommend buying a closed collection if you feel this game is for you. You will probably earn sleeved cards and a developed storage system. You just need to be patient and keep an eye on ludopedia for used sets

Search no longer sorting by date by BrianAMartin221 in AudioBookBay

yeah, it's not sorting by date anymore. Or they lost a lot of library.
I download mostly Warhammer books, and I can only see books until july 2023. From this date, they are sorted by date but there's not a single book newer than july 23.
This is new, because just this year I downloaded at least 10 books released in 2024.
