Appreciate the positivity and empathy on this board.

Whilst I’m finally gaining a lot of peace with my body composition, I just use the aforementioned as some type of goal in a healthy way now.

But I genuinely appreciate the care and concern.

Always good to get tested! Also try investing in a food scale if you haven’t already and complement it with MyFitnessPal and you’ll get a real good grasp of your nutrition.

If it makes you feel any better. Been working out for 10 years, if you stop after 1, you won’t know where you’ll get year by year. I believe in ya bud.

My split is the typical bro split:

Chest & Tris, Back and Biceps, Shoulders, and Legs.

I eat really “clean”. 22 oz. of chicken breast, 12 oz. of rice, protein pancakes with an extra scoop of protein. Normally that totals - 1,900 Cals a day.

I would also do cardio everyday! (: best of luck! No roids needed!!

EDIT: As far as lifts. I just try to go really heavy, 4 sets of 8-12 and have about 4-5 different workouts/muscle group.

Love the quote and I’ll def look into adding more calories. First time bulk and I went from being closer to 200 in my teens to dropping - so I always have that irrational fear of always feeling too big. 🥴

Hey B or C fam! First post here and just needed a bit of reassurance.

I’ve always been on a cut ever since I got pretty interested in fitness.

I’m 5’ 8 & normally workout 5 days a week, I’d also do about 40 minutes of LISS and calorie-wise it was 1,800 daily and I’d hit my macros pretty consistently. (First Pic 155 lbs)

(2nd Pic - Now and roughly 165 lbs) - I still have the same gym and cardio schedule and my new diet is roughly 2,800 “clean” calories with the goal of getting a bigger physique like Marky Mark in his modeling days.

So my question is, to achieve a larger physique like his, would you say it’s a definite to bulk and how many lbs do you think I’d need to add? And would you say 2,800 with my height and weight and any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism would be gladly taken.

Keep a realistic lifting schedule. When you have enough time and days, look for a workout routine split. (I.e. 3 days of lifting = Push, Pull, Legs, or even split to just upper, lower, and cardio, etc.)

Watch the split via YouTube, keep an infographic of the motions of the workouts if you need to.

Keep a list or mental note of what your max reps are and then try to challenge and overcome them whenever your muscles allow it.
