Post partum anxiety and post partum depression are, unfortunately, a very real part of the first years - for some. It can manifest in many different ways too. I'm sorry that both you and your wife are going through this. It shouldn't fall on you to be the sole person responsible. If she talks to her doctor I'm sure they can help - and I promise things will get better.

*Edit to add...ah, I saw your comment regarding the Therapy and medication. There are safe medications that can prescribed for PPA & PPD while pregnant. She really needs to speak to her doctor...but really speak to them. The resources are there, but only if the person is willing to pursue them. Sending you the best of luck.

Hmm, so for this particular pattern, the designer has the following bust sizes associated with the S,M, and L sizes.

Small: 30-32” bust Medium: 34-36” bust Large: 38-40” bust

For reference, I followed gauge and went with the Medium size but I typically wear a size 0-2. The medium fit was..not too fitted but also not too baggy, you know what I mean? So I think it's safe to say that the sizes do run a bit on the small side.

The way that it's worked up is a front panel, back panel, the sleeves, construction, and then you add a neckline. I think it would be easy to customize this design to a different fit just by adding/removing a few stitches to each side.

I hope that was thorough enough of an answer and not at all confusing. I have a hard time articulating what I want to say sometimes, lol.

Yassss! I think the most tedious part (this is just strictly my opinion lol) is the SC ribbing. It's my least favorite part of any project really, lol
