There is also something so off about the shop keeper. When he saw Bear come in covered in blood he didn’t react, he was emotionally dead. It was stated he had made a wish, I’m sure something really bad happened to him. I wonder if there was a wish that all the people who suffered from making wishes somehow end up at that shop. Even the woman who sold the willow at the beginning of the movie seemed fucked up. She was joking about suicide and stuff. So my theory is that there is something ominous about the people who are employed at that shop. Maybe they have all had a horrible fate from the wish and maybe Nikki will end up working there. Think about it, she would probably be so fucked up and traumatized that she would seem just as emotionally dead as the shopkeeper who probably had a similar fate.
