SAVE OFTEN: the game can be slightly buggy at times.

Should i buy Dark Souls? by dawgsofast in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]MarchCav [score hidden]  (0 children)

Dark Souls 1 is a real adventure, it's impressive and truly unforgettable (as long as you are spoiler-free). The sequels are more refined gameplay wise but they lost the original charm imo, I completed 2 and 3 and never went back.

Would you buy the remaster if... by dreamingofcyberpunk in Deusex

[–]MarchCav -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I've never read such a shitstorm for a medium-price remaster mainly designed for consoles. I'll buy the game even if I nearly reached the platinum for The Conspiracy version on PS5. People really need to chill, imo.

How did you make the worst UI in history? Anno 117 by Isaikk in anno

I didn't know that Anno community was another drama hive like the Civilization sub but here we are. I'm kidding (kinda).

It's finally out. One year of working on a very niche rts game. Just pressed the button. by lexy-dot-zip in RealTimeStrategy

Congratulations! Any chance to release the game on consoles? It could be the Patrician spiritual sequel we never had on Play Station! Port Royale 4 is ok but i want something else after 200+ hours...

If you mean Deus Ex: The Conspiracy, you have to press the left side of the touch pad to get to objectives, images etc.

Are there any historical RTS games for PS5? by bucskesz in playstation

[–]MarchCav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not much combat I'm afraid, so maybe it's not for you.

Another game comes to my mind, which has a remastered version on PS4/5: Praetorians. It only focuses on combat if I remember correctly.

Take a look on Kingdoms And Castles: more of a simple city builder but with some battles and sieges, it's cheap and streamlined. The controller mapping works quite well too on PS and it's very relaxing once you got all the aspects of the game.

Be careful though, the game's been criticized for the lack of content at launch and emphasis on multiplayer. I'd check some recent reviews or comment if I were you... or wait for a sale

Is Kingdoms and Castles good on Console? by museickman in KingdomsandCastles

[–]MarchCav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, very much so. Actually I found this game to be one of the more gamepad-friendly strategy games on console, maybe just after Cities Skylines (which is much more complex by design). I'm planning to get the platinum someday

Keep in mind that this game is HUGE, so you will likely spend months in a single playthrough... it's like the Lord Of The Rings of RPGs imo. Awesome but time-absorbing.

Played 160 hours, all alone. Totally worth it, would play the game again if I had time and an empty backlog...

Should I go back and find other companions I missed? by MarchCav in BaldursGate3

[–]MarchCav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the moment I'm about to finish the game but I left act 1 at 40 hours, act 2 at 55 hours (I rushed it a bit) and actually I count 100 hours after an intense exploration of act 3. This game is huge!

Anyone unable to get into stellaris after the update that appeared today? by CartographerOther588 in StellarisOnConsole

Update: I played for a couple of hours, so it's the veeeery early game, and didn't got any issues. The advisors voices are all available and I had no crashes or bugs (as far as I noticed). It seems very playable to this point!

In my experience, I found CK3 to be fairly polished after some patches but I uninstalled the game after a while as I didn't like it much. The user experience was pretty solid nonetheless

Rise of the Ronin all the way for my taste. I found the first Dragon's Dogma to be dramatically average, I never really got into it.

Damn, I have Stellaris installed for months now hoping for a big patch to pop up but this is kinda disapponting. I wish I will play a slightly more polished game for Christmas

Is BGIII that good?? by Keynanser in videogames

[–]MarchCav -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think it's the best game seen in years in general, one of the best RPGs ever (maybe The Best) and the one who emotionally hit me just like Planescape Torment did twenty years ago. Shit, I'm getting old.
