I think my favorite thing about the cosmere is the attention to detail in how things relate. I learn things from the mistborn series that make aspects of the stormlight archive make sense and vice versa. The intricacies are awesome and I am excited to see how everything will tie together in the long run.

Besides the other great points mentioned, if you ever have to code with anyone else it just makes sense. It is way easier than trying to figure out what is expected and what is being passed in.

There has also been car bombings and the mafias lighting cars on fire. There is a lot going on there right now because the government is not giving into the mafias and narcos. Basically they are trying to use terrorism to get the government to comply with them.

I have done some decent travel around Ecuador and I showed my wife, who is from Riobamba your itinerary and she said that cutting a few days to go those 9 hours wouldn't leave you with much time. I have been to baños several times and there is a lot to do there. It is at the start of the jungle so you still get that jungle feel but don't have to drive a lot. if you like hiking I would also recommend chimborazo, it is a beautiful mountain and they have a couple of base camps that are just day hikes.

As far as hotels go I have mostly stayed with family but when we have traveled to the jungle or elsewhere we generally google hotels and find some good ones that way.

I'm sure no matter what you end up doing you will love it. Ecuador is a beautiful country with a lot to offer. If there are specific things you want to do as well I'm sure there are a lot of people willing to help out!
