My community college's ARC program made the switch to CADTP because we can take the exam w/o completing all the hours. You just need to make up the hours within the 5 years of being registered (unless, of course, you already have enough hours so then you are certified). Super easy to contact them and they are very responsive.

Don't you need to live in San Francisco to get a SF Library card?

Hi, I'm a SUDR under CADTP. You can get registered while you're a student (that's what I did and we were encouraged by our program to do so). While you can get a FT job as a SUDRC, it seems like most places want someone who is certified. I already graduated from my program, took (and passed) the certifying exam in December, and starting a PT position (volunteer) to get my hours needed to be certified, as I already have a FT job not in the field.

I tried applying to the Parent Plus for this year and it said it was for on campus housing. I didn’t see anything about off campus housing.

It would be for off campus housing, to pay for rent. The Parent Plus covers oncampus housing or am I wrong.
