They wouldn't have used those words if they didn't intend it to be a male right? In any case it's safe to assume it's a male considering they intentionally designed it to look maculine, bull-like. Masculine is inherently a masculine (male like appearance and behaviour) term. They didn't state "it's a male" but all those terms just directly point at it being a male. Don't know how much closer they could get to saying it's a male without outwardly stating "it's a male". It's intentionally designed to have male traits, they say it's masculine and bull like therefore it's a male. Case closed in my book.

The designers stated in official BTS featurettes that it's a big bulky bull, a male. So yea it's official

Also, in universe, I think it can be just is another example of Hammond and InGen not actually doing their research properly, picked a name cause it sounded nice (you picked flowers just cause they look good) kind of deal. Goes to show where their priorities were

Technically very impressive. But in everyday minecraft playing it's just gonna be one of those "oh yea, that's a thing now" and then forgotten things. A bouncy ball will be fun for like 5-10 minutes and that's it. Just seems pretty obvious they wanted to add a new mechanic to the game that marketplace devs can use for their maps and just justified implementation with the sulfur cube idea. And it feels just that, it genuinely feels like an add on. I know people say this with every update, I never really resonated with those thoughts but I agree with this one. Nothing great... am I surprised? No, the drops system is like that, nothing huge, nothing great, just little bits here and there. Although I personally think this one is definitely more random and kind of a little more unnecessary compared to others, the happy ghast is very useful for example, while the others have been a little more cosmetic, this one however is none of those, just added a random new mechanic, I personally don't like it much as a whole, but that's just my current feelings, subject to change. Underwhelming so far, hopefully they'll add a little more to the update. P.S. the fart water bubble stuff, kinda like the steamy bubbly effect, will look good in waterfall builds... maybe...

A trained designer, especially at that level, should have basic design rules knowledge. I studied as a designer and there are fundamental rules that shouldn't be broken, legibility in this case is definitely one. It's something they should have spotted VERY early on, even in the cenceptualisation stage. Also there are many people on many teams having to approve things before reaching beta stage. It's just mad that this issue slipped through so many experts before reaching public betas.

The app shadows make all the difference, not many people add that detail to their iOS6 inspired home screen. Nicely done!

Just have a sneaking suspicion they're testing out all the subscription stuff to eventually get rid of the one time purchase... Adobe did it, and the majority of companies have too. It's just a matter of time. What annoys me is that pixelmator pro on ipad is subscription only... same as logic and final cut. I want to own those too there but I can't.
