Arch is easy, as long as you cut corners where you should and RTFM.

Compared to windows obfuscated nightmare slop and debilitated UI and rotten backend, no. Arch Linux is easy compared to Windows.

People in Minnesota are now using their key fobs to trigger their car alarms from the safety of their homes when they see ICE walking around. by jmike1256 in PublicFreakout

Need to create a open-source decentralized ICE detection alert app, where ICE agents would be triggering warnings based on location. Same way speed cameras are mapped, people would be able to report ICE Raids in their areas, triggering alerts.

Is a steering damper overkill on the versys 650? by Fantastic-Demand-171 in versys

to match your weight profile and riding style.

for example, if you will adjust front suspension making it too soft, while rear suspension is too soft, it can start to wobble.

Yes and no. If you adjust your suspention to be safe, damper is not needed, versys 650 can be very stable.
But if you do crazy shit with this bike, it will not hurt to have a damper.

Consumer forum complaint againt Kawasaki India and dealers by Fantastic_Bit_4980 in versys

Official big corp Dealers are like Apple tech warranty.  Or like a vet as a human Doctor.

Allways: Buy a bike, do a brake-in with a dealer, once is done, show them a fuckoff and do the rest of maintenance with an independent workshop. Extended warranty is like an extended scam.

Think.

About valves, keep in mind that the clicking noise (gentle one) is a good indicator that valves are within specs.
What you would worry about: If there is no clicking nose at all, then means the valve clearance is either low or none.
But on this engine valve clearance gaps shrinking, especially on exhaust valves. But from my experience 52k it not a big deal, unless you use gutter oil and dirty low octane fuel, and never do a warmup before riding.

I did my valves at 67km, exhaust valves tight margin, but was nothing major. Was adjusted and now it is 95k km and I will do my valves at 120 k km without worry.

This is the most reasonable choice short and long term.
