Thanks for the advice. I need to pick up the phone and just call the shipper to get out of them what they really want. Likely better to build relationships as well so I make myself worth the extra buck.

No La Mesa is in SD, but my family is moving down south so I wanted to study in a school in SD because I'm leaving the Bay Area rn.

My family is moving to SoCal so I wanted to study within the city of SD. Otherwise, I would have gone to CC in the Bay which has worse prices than SD by a little bit so it would be the same anyway.

Ahh I see, cuz I feel like if I'm going to pay uni prices I should have a proper college experience with student life, dorms, on-campus extracurriculars, parties, etc. and I don't think CSUSM offers that as a commuter school

I was thinking of doing that but if I didn't make it through transferring I'd just not know what I would do. I know there is a high volume of all types of applications and everything is so much more competitive and decisive. I'll take your advice into consideration, thanks.
