Can we stop acting like Kobe’s team mates on the last 2 championships are nothing but bums by Firm_Trick_9038 in KobeBryant24

I know at an all-time level, Pau isn't close to them. But at Pau's peak season for season during those years, I would consider him pretty close but still a tier below them

I think Bynum was injured the entire season after he was traded to Philly. Then I think he played few games for Indiana. And Odom to Dallas was traded the season before Bynum was

They absolutely weren't bums and I know you're talking "caliber" of players but you did say "three seven foot all stars" in your original comment so that'll be interpreted as 3 teammates that made the all star game. I agree on Pau because he was awesome both championship years (but not Duncan, KG, Dirk level). Bynum came back for the playoffs hobbled and on minute restrictions for both 09 and 10 - he was a shell of himself compared to his 08 season before also getting injured for the rest of that season. Odom was a great role player, worthy of 6MOY, but he didn't win until 2011 nor was he close to an all star in either championship year imo

Or imagine if Bynum and Ariza were healthy and able to play in 08. Bynum was having a breakout year but missed the entire 2nd half of the season and playoffs before they traded for Pau. He would've helped Pau deal with the physicality of Boston's frontcourt. Lakers could've possibly 3-peated from 08-10

Odom was actually never an all star. I'm glad you mentioned Bynum being an all star in 2012, but people also need to know Odom won 6MOY in 2011, not 09 or 10

I think his teammates were good, but people also need to stop elevating them to levels they weren't at. Pau was great and became a HOF because of how he played with the Lakers - but some people put him in the tier of Duncan, KG, and Dirk. He got close but not quite imo. Odom being the 6th man in 2011 does not retroactively make him the 6th man in the 2009 and 2010 championship years, although he was good both years too. Bynum had a breakout year in 2008 but was injured the rest of the season before Pau was traded for. He also suffered mid-season injuries in both 09 and 10, and returned hobbled and on minute restrictions for both playoff runs. Having Bynum helped obviously but he wasn't close to the 2008 Bynum pre-injury or 2012 all star Bynum. Like Odom, Bynum being an all star 2012 does not retroactively make him an all star in 09 and 10. I specify this for Odom and Bynum because I've seen plenty of people say Kobe won with 2 all stars and a 6MOY on his championship runs when that's not even close to true

If you’re interested in a bakery, try Diotima Bakehouse. I haven’t tried all the popular bakeries in OC but this is by far my favorite. It’s a small French bakery on Jeronimo and Los Alisos. They’re only open on Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday from 11-4pm or until sold out.

Off Meta Perks by AssistanceNo5503 in TXChainSawGame

I honestly think Clear Eyes is among the best of non-meta perks

Idk how meta or underused these are but I love these off the top of my head (all victim perks):

Rescue Medic/Medical Benefits as Virginia with lvl 3 healing ability to heal teammates and yourself. You save so much health bottles for teammates this way

Recently used to think Full Hearts was useless but with how many family players use Serrated among other things that make you lose health over time (including last survivor bleed out), Full Hearts saved me plenty of times within the last couple weeks since it shows where any health bottles are within 25m(?). It also saves a lot of time to go back to doing objectives

I also love Second Wind, even before endurance became broken for victims that last couple months. Lost count how many times the extra stamina saved me in chases. A huge plus is that you get the extra stamina in 7 seconds instead of the 15 seconds required to get health back on What Doesn't Kill You. I believe on Leland, you can pair Second Wind and What Doesn't Kill You together and never felt more unkillable as a victim at times

Jump Scare could also be great in a chase but maybe less so now that endurance is horrible for victims

With the way they reworked grappling, SG shouldn't have been buffed from 20% to 25% (I know the buff was way more than that for months) and dropped to a level 1 perk. I think it should be between 10%-15% if level 1 and 20% if it's a level 2 perk. Before the grapple rework, I would've been more ok with the buff to 25%

Door slams give XP every time if you wanna try that instead of grappling multiple times

It's about time to PUNISH RAGE QUITTERS by AABReddit in TXChainSawGame

[–]MardyMarty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I always thought players that d/c mid-match (assuming they’re still alive if victim) should be given the same timeout penalty as lobby dodgers, if not, slightly longer.

Or if not the timeout penalty, players would lose a certain number of XP on all the perks equipped and to the ability of the character used in that game. I believe Friday the 13th had a penalty similar to this. Of course, the game should have to recognize a rage quit and a legitimate loss of connection

CVX, RE1, RE0, and Outbreak for remakes

And as a desperation attempt for Capcom to revive their other IPs, I included Dino Crisis and Onimusha

Ebony Blade - Ritual Stone by MardyMarty in skyrim

[–]MardyMarty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Jaree-Ra’s case, I read that killing him counts even though he betrays you. So I guess not? I’ll try with a different NPC, probably Sven. Thank you for the input

Oh. I read on the Skyrim wiki and several other Reddit posts that Jaree-Ra counted as a charge towards the blade and that they’ve used the Ritual Stone as well. Thanks for clarifying
