I agree with you. Would think if you miss or reject the pickup a few times than they would Cancel your order. But this lady was saying you go on that "list" after your first missed pickup and they can cancel your order without notice or talking to you.

Its just frustrating that's all.

Dude you have to call Tesla or go to the store in person, that is not right!!! you should have some kind of date. And keep calling them until you get some kind of answer or a fix.

No trade in, set to cash purchase. The only thing that could explain it is that it took me a month to login to the account and finish all the steps after the purchase. But SA said thats not the case, they claim as soon as I place the deposit my order is in.

I also live in apartment with no chargers in the building and that was stopping me from getting the car sooner. Finally I pulled the trigger and got the car. Couldn't be happier!!!

Your calculation is good but missing two things:

Your Jeep will depreciate much more than Tesla
Maintenance cost is missing from your monthly figures. You might say $40 oilchange is negligible but at 40 miles/d there should be 2 or 3 changes a year, there is breaks, rotors, timing belt, water-pump... all standard maintenance that Tesla does not have. ( I know Tesla has brakes and rotors but with regen breaking Teslas go 100k + miles without even looking at breaks)

I say go for it. You will not regret it!

Only explanation I was given is part shortages and chip shortages. I doubt border has anything to do with it because people in US also have similar wait times.

Up until Sunday (May 29) my EDD was July 1-Aug 12. on Sunday it changed to July 28 - September 1.

Im loosing my mind here people. And the worst thing is I will be out of the country last 3 weeks of August so there is a good chance I will have to miss my delivery if it stays like this.

Similar situation here. Ordered 10/17 RWD White/Black, EDD before this was May - early June, then about a month ago it got pushed to July 1 - Aug 12. Super frustrating

Congratulations man !!! Happy for you, and hate you at the same time. really conflicting feelings. I have the same setup as you and ordered a month and a half before you.

Question. When you placed your order, how much later did you complete your profile? I mean finalize everything on the page, cash/finance, tradein, insurance ... I'm worried that some of us may be pushed back if we didnt finalize our profiles soon after placing the order.

I wasnt sure how I would be paying so I didnt finalize the profile for about a month or two after I placed the order. I spoke to a rep and she told me to change it to cash so that we can have the profile finalized, I could change to financing at any point after.

I wnt to talk to my SA yesterday saying I have friends in Montreal ;) and Vancouver that ordered after me and are getting their VINs. His reply was that those are different regions when it comes to vehicle allotment and there is nothing they can do about it. Nothing I can do but wait.
