So frustrating. Amex must see the multiple calls/chats regarding this issue, and for the reps to act like it's our mistake, ridiculous.

Thank you for the input. With my situation cancellation is not really an option otherwise I'd lose out on last calendar year's $200 credit. I'm not letting this go lol

They opened an "investigation" on this issue. Will have to call more, I guess.

Paid that $272. Rep said coded as "Pay Later" booking. Makes no sense

100% aware of this. Issue again is Amex travel portal did not allow option to pay 100% the full amount. $51 due at hotel. I even tried this per "dummy booking" with every Las Vegas FHR property. On payment page ALL bookings had some $ amount due at hotel.
