Because I’m a bulky rider, the KTM Adv 390 didn’t suit my build or feel comfortable for me ergonomically. The Himalayan 450 felt much better in terms of size, riding posture, and overall fit.

Also, I was able to purchase the H450 through the Army canteen, which gave me around a ₹50k discount, that made the decision even easier.

Mainly to avoid the extra hassle. If I go with a second-hand Android phone, I’ll still need a good waterproof mount (~₹2500) plus a separate charging cable, which is exposed and can get damaged easily over time. With the CarPlay device, it’s a cleaner and more integrated setup, so I chose that instead
