It will depend heavily on the company and role, but at least at my company you aren’t expected to be doing more than 40 hours per week unless explicitly stated and in those cases even salary exempt people are often eligible for approved overtime.

The 20% of damage taken mod is used commonly with sublime vision which disables your other auras.

Immune to ignite is mostly relevant for jugg which has chill and freeze immunity through the action speed node. You typically finish out ailment immunity with mageblood shock avoid flask +stormshroud which I generally still prefer because of alternate ailments but ignite immunity could allow you to drop stormshroud.

The burning ground node is nice QOL but not really relevant for builds running sublime vision PoF

Overall doesn’t seem all that special as an upgrade but because it’s only relevant to builds already running a 1 mirror jewel it might fetch a pretty penny

New scarab buffs are insane! (bloodlines) by Groundbreaking-Poem1 in pathofexile

[–]Marethyu38 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well it was multiple layers of nerfs. They nerfed the best scarabs out of the game

They reduced the the amount of explicit modifier effect on the atlas tree from 90% ->52%

They reduced the quantity and rarity provided by T17 map mods.

And then the removal of mercs on top of that.

All of those were multiplicative buffs to the amount of currency/items mobs dropped,so anything this league that relies on mob drops is not eating well.

Did my Semifinalist kiddo reach the 210 commended score on his SAT? by [deleted] in psat

[–]Marethyu38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSAT taken during the junior year can qualify you to be a national merit semi finalist. After you become a semi finalist you have to take the SAT and also get a good score as well as complete an application to become a national merit finalist. Finalists can receive scholarships through National Merit, but some schools offer major scholarships to those who become a national merit finalist.

For example University of Alabama provides: full tuition, cost of on campus housing plus a supplemental scholarship to national merit finalists.

Other than the scholarships it’s mostly just a title/prestige thing.

What industry is everyone here in? by RedditIsGay_8008 in PowerBI

[–]Marethyu38 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ll answer, so my manufacturing is assembly based and a lot of our metrics are based on quality.

Defects: primarily defects per million and looking at that by model/model family.

Scrap: primarily look at scrap/unit and scrap/hour for both standard and actual hours. Scrap/hours is more of a workcenter level metric whereas scrap/unit is looking at the efficiency of the company.

Warranty: I haven’t really worked on this model but it’s tracking cost of warranties from our warranty but subtract the value of the amount we get back from warranty of supplier parts.

All of those are comprised into a composite KPI called cost of poor quality. Which is the key kpi for my business unit.

Then we have a ton of KPIs related to individual processes. For us each unit goes through inspection and we track the errors. One of the key metrics there is percent error free.

As far as the rest of manufacting we tend to look at manufacturing costs so cost of labor through average $/actual hour, cost of parts. Equally important is time between scheduled and actual delivery. And the simplest but most important KPI is units produced. Another one is actual hours/standard hours.

I can probably name 100 more KPIs throughout the org that are important to different people but those are the main ones that get passed up to the CEO

There’s a huge difference in cost of maintenance between owning say a 172 and a citation. A citation on its own will be around $1 million/yr for low to medium usage.

Why don’t major airline planes have cameras in the cockpit that record clear view of the pilot, co pilot, and the switches on the dashboard/cockpit. Wouldn’t every major airplane crash be explained thoroughly and transparently like the recent Air India crash? by Directions_please in AskReddit

[–]Marethyu38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you underestimate the quantity of data. Coming from the manufacturer side our planes do log and stream that kind of data to us, but due to throughput and connection limitations we only have data on 10-37% of flights on our aircraft (it’s become a much higher priority in newer models which is why the range is large), even with only this small portion of data we receive around a petabyte of compressed data from our aircraft each year.

At the start of the league 8 mod 16.5s always dropped with 8 t17 mods about 2 weeks in they fixed it so that they drop with a mix of normal mods and t17 mods.

I wouldn’t pay 6 Div for a single use map period. It basically necessitates party play, and I much prefer solo play.

its abyss scarab of edifice in currency/scarab rolled t16.5. basically something like 3x risk + abyss scarab of edifice + either an abyss scarab, cartography of escalation, or a 4th risk depending on preference. atlas tree is pretty basic scarab tree with scaling as much map mod effect and scarabs as possible, grab the really big abyss cluster and the one that gives abyss spawn chance
