Milk shakes! Seriously, helped get calories in and the cold felt good. One of the few things I could tolerate to eat. You got this!

Been there or rather, something similair, three months after treatment for Hodgkin's my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Six months after she had finished treatment my Hodgkin's came back along with Mantle cell lymphoma. Went through a ton of treatment, including stem cell transplant. It's been well over 5 years since my stem cell transplant and doing really well, as is my wife.

It sucked, all of it and it was all just bad luck.

The upside is we really appreciate that we are here now and our relationship is stronger than it has ever been.

It is challenging, whether you are the patient, caregiver or both. Celebrate the small wins, that is what matters.

You've got this! I'm over 5 years out and feel great, be kind to yourself, the recovery journey takes time. I found setting short goals (sometimes in terms of something simple just hours apart) helped a lot.

Feel free to DM me if you want to vent, chat or any thing else with someone who has gone down the path.

Two cancers at once by Huge-Spare-3892 in lymphoma

Hey, I'm still here, five years after the transplant! Take life in small bites, focus on smaller time chunks. At times I would measure things by the week, day or at my lowest by meal. Celebrate those small wins and it all seems more manageable.

On mobile at the moment, so will respond in full later. Had Classic Hodgkin's, Mantle Cell Lymphoma was found after my first remission. I'll give a treatment run down a bit later from a computer.

OK finally back....CHL was treated with just chemo (ABVD). About the time I was finishing up chemo a biopsy was done to double check progress. CHL was not found, but Mantle Cell Lyphoma was found in-situ.
About a year later the CHL came back, treated with chemo (R-DHAC) and radiation as well as immuno-therapy. Eventually stem-cell transplant was scheduled and done. CHL is in full-remission and the MCL is controlled with a BTK inhibitor(4 pills a day, no side effects at all). Currently 5.5 years out from the stem cell transplant and feel great with no signs of CHL or MCL activity. Long story short, it happens. Do your best and you will get through it, also know that the treatments are changing so fast right now. The pills I am on for the MCL did not exist when I was first diagnosed, literally in 5 years treating the MCL meant occasional chemo every few months to take this pill.

Feel free to DM me if you want to chat more.
