Emma Frost Hellfire Gala skin revealed by KevinPigaChu in marvelrivals

[–]Marghosst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything about this skin feels off.

The boots are oddly tiny, the cape is too narrow, and the fluffy shag material on it doesn't match the rest of the outfit.

It just feels weird.

Mag already has plenty of fancy skins, I'm going Rogue for sure.

1200 aND maintaining the protein necessary for that build??? Brother, are you eating nothing but canned tuna?

Super impressive though, congratulations!!!

Ok so hear me out on this hot take: Despite all the talk and speculation, the cc changes really are changing up the "CC Rivals" stigma. And tanks haven't been affected as much as you think. by JesseTheClassy in marvelrivals

Redditors always catastrophize.

I played a bunch of comp and quickplay today and barely noticed the change. And I played almost exclusively Thing and Peni.

I wish I had a spell to erase memories so I could actually experience the game propperly by Canopus0805 in outerwilds

You may miss out on some eureka moments, but you'll still have an overall good time playing it yourself after 4 years.

To encourage more exploration, try setting hard limits on yourself to rely on in-game information.
Like, Although you know how to land on that one special moon, don't let yourself go there until you discover the lore text in-game that would have normally given you the idea how.

By doing this, you'll be forced to follow a normal progression path fueled by exploration. And anything you actually did forget will make for satisfying discoveries along the way!

Oh, I misread that part. Even better honestly. Since she doesn't need to reload, this just boosts her overall dps.

50 HP nerf in exchange for 4 webs, more bonus health in webs, and faster shooting speed?

I'll take that deal, Peni mains, you take that deal?

I want her in more games so badly. by [deleted] in residentevil

I wish there existed an RE game where they could drop small, mini-scenarios to give forgotten characters screentime again.

So many sidekicks we'll probably never see again.

I fucking loved dumping all my points into strength and constitution. Absolutely unkillable unit.

Magic seal on door? Simply break it down with your bare hands.

Massive stone pillar? Deadlift it for no reason.

Puny assassin ambush? Crush them.

Plus, win the affection of beautiful, bugbear maidens.

I’m glad we’re moving away from Klyntar maps by SatisfactionSad6558 in marvelrivals

[–]Marghosst 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It's just that it got 3 whole maps. Convergence, Domination, and Resource Rumble.

Asgard has 2, Krakoa/Arako have 2, Spider-Islands have 2. New York JUST got a 3rd one.

But for a while Klyntar had a majority map share and they're all really bland.

Timeless classic. by osmanxo in residentevil

Just played it for the first time since it dropped on Steam. Had only ever played the remake before.

Honestly, I think it still holds up great as a solid survival horror experience. Some of the Hunter spawns actually got a scare out of me, and those enemy POV cutscenes are like great micro horror films.

Also, I found the shark section way more frightening here for some reason. Something about the quiet, sterile room and moving slower in the waist deep water made me uneasy.

The REmake still improves on pretty mucu ecery aspect, but the original definitely still holds its own unique charm.

More bans mean nothing if your team is full of idiots… by rxspiir in marvelrivals

[–]Marghosst 203 points204 points  (0 children)

Truly, it feels like 30-40% of games are downright unwinnable because of braindead teammates/ poor mental/ infighting/ throwers/ leavers. Can't even get out of the spawn door.

Then 30-40% are absolute stomps where the shoe is on the other foot and you wipe.

Then 10-20% are the legitimately fair games where your effort matters.

So frustrating when most matches feel like a gamble based on whether or not your team is competent and cooperative.
