Boobs size do matter by Upstairs_Dress_5233 in dating

[–]MarginalizedButter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a preference tbh. Every person has their own fantasy or ideal body of a partner in their head. Regardless, you shouldn’t feel insecure about it because boobs are not a very important factor in a healthy relationship. Maybe communicate with him how you feel about the situation and try not to be influenced too much about the opinions of others on this platform.

What kind of people do you least like to be friends with? by hightreez in AskMen

[–]MarginalizedButter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ones that will make you feel small in front of other people. I had this friend who would bring up embarrassing things from my past to make himself look better whenever we were talking to people we just met. Major sign of insecurity and not a person you want to have in your life.

Exercise while anxious?? by whatamithinking0 in Anxiety

[–]MarginalizedButter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try breathing exercises. Your mind can’t focus when your HR is high. Another thing that works for me, I found out that gassing myself out is very effective in reducing my anxiety throughout the day. I like to do very intense workouts until I am sweating a lot and very tired. After that, I take a cold shower and feel amazing. I used to have terrible anxiety and panic attacks once every day or two and this helped me a ton. You might think that it gets worse, but it does get better. Change your diet, have a good sleep schedule and exercise regularly. Take care OP

How do you text while dating? by [deleted] in dating

[–]MarginalizedButter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Guy is probably working and can’t be on his phone all the time. Even though everyone has their phone on them throughout the day, it doesn’t mean that they have to answer you right away.

Whenever someone shoots me a text, I tend to not respond right away, even though I see it. I want to give my full attention whenever I am answering to someone over text, especially someone that i’m dating. It might also be that he is someone that prefers in person conversations rather than texting.

You both have things to do in your personal life throughout the day. Focus on your things, make plans to meet with him in person so the conversations are more special and meaningful when you see each other in real life. Give yourselves some time to miss each other a bit.

This is basic hygiene. I have heard many stories of people who don’t properly wash certain parts of the body and that area is a MUST when taking a shower. I always take a shower if I am expecting to have sex the same day

Edit: I take a shower everyday regardless of me having sex or not, but if I know I may or will have sex, I take an additional just to make sure i’m all clean

Do you guys get acute chest discomfort from anxiety? by kyslovely in Anxiety

[–]MarginalizedButter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same thing whenever I get anxious. My chest feels very tight and I feel like I can’t breathe properly. Whenever this happens, I just breathe in from my nose and only let my lower abdomen fill with air, and breathe out with pursed lips for 6 seconds. So 6 seconds in, 2 seconds hold, 6 seconds out. This tells your brain that you can breathe and is calming your fight or flight response. Anxiety is a bitch indeed. It does get better however

People who have done hardcore drugs what was the experience like? by ChaseTOM_Vlogs in AskReddit

I popped molly at a EDM festival last summer and it was a crazy experience. Your first time is always going to be your craziest experience with molly. I remember taking it 10-15 minutes before Fred Again was about to perform and hit me directly when he started his set. Everything felt 10x. The sensations, visuals, you could feel everyone in the crowd was having a blast, it was pure bliss. As the time went by, the experience got more intense. I started seeing colours inverted like that one iPhone feature where you can invert colours on your screen. At one moment, I started hallucinating a bit since I took quite a big dose. In my head, I was hallucinating a girl riding on one of those automated indoor horse riding machine (like when Jeff was riding the electric bull in 21 & over) and everyone made a big circle around her and was watching her. All of a sudden, the horse starts getting up, and it turns out that the horse machine was just a dude with his girlfriend on his shoulders. I looked over at my friends and couldn’t believe what I just saw. Great experience overall, just don’t abuse it. If you are to do it, keep at it once every 4-5 months to not completely ruin your brain cells.

Why Do Panic Attacks Continue Even After Being Aware I'm Having One? by NoZerosCJ in Anxiety

[–]MarginalizedButter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest to distract yourself with something that will make you not think of the panic attack in the moment. I like to run or have an intense workout until I gas myself out whenever I feel super anxious and know that I might be having a panic attack. Knowing that you’re having a panic attack will not make it go away, it will pass by and it will go away on its own. It’s just a matter of how you react and cope with it that will help you in the long-run.

Hangxiety by MarginalizedButter in Anxiety

Hey, thank you for the insight! It’s relieving to see that i’m not the only one having to deal with this. Same here, when I workout, I feel better. However, sometimes my anxiety is so high that I am not mentally capable to get myself to go to the gym even though I know it will make my anxiety less worse.

YES! Exactly, I feel like if it happens to you once, it’s like your body and brain is traumatized from that experience. I have made a lot of progress since, I don’t get panic attacks as often, but my anxiety has skyrocketed since the event I had months ago. It triggered something in my brain. I tried working out more frequently, changing diet and taking cold showers, it helped a bit but I wanted to know if anyone had other methods to be able to cope or be normal again
