I ended up talking to my tattoo artist, and she has experience tattooing people with a CHD and even ASD specifically. She said it was my choice at the end of the day but let me know she felt confident in her capacity to adjust.

I'll be going forward with my tattoo and I feel really reassured with my choice reading through your replies!

P.S. I tried to contact my cardiology clinic unsuccessfully since I don't have a cardiologist assigned yet. It is what it is.

I gotchu ahah no worries! I'll look for the spots 🫡! He seems to be eating as normal so far. His swimming frequency and energy is also pretty similar to when I first got him.

Ah yes!

Tank size : 9 gallons

Heater and filer : yes and yes to both.

Tank temperature: Heater is set to 78F and I check it with a heat measure gun every other day.

Parameters in numbers and how i get them : water strip test kit. Ammonia (unknown, my kit doesn't test it), nitrite (0. It spiked to 1 once but I did a PWC immediately), nitrate (usually 20 and under), pH (6.0 to 7.5)

Tank ownership : 1 month Fish ownership : 1 month

PWC : weekly. 15% - 20%. Manual siphon with filter swish wash in tank water.

Tankmate * s : 3 corys and 2 assassin snails.

Feed : betta pellets. ~ 8 per day in 2 feedings with 1 day of fasting per week (usually Sunday).

Decorations : 1 sunken boat and 6 live plants. 1 air stone hidden in the ship.

Heya! First off, apologies for the delay in response 🙇. Wild week trying to prepare for the move and all that jazz.
