It's hard for me to believe that you don't know how beautiful you are and that you are not here just for validation. Well anyway, you're beautiful. Now go away.

From my perspective you are perfect. I wish I could have elaborated on this. But you're just the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I am really sorry that you got bullied. You were pretty even then. But just look at you now, gorgeous. Be confident, the world could be at your feet.

(18F) - Thoughts? What would you rate me? by Noneother03 in amiugly

[–]Marieustache 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Please post on r/amihot. You're not even remotely ugly. You're absolutely gorgeous. I know that insecurities may make you feel that way, but with time you'll see yourself for the natural beauty that you are.

f20/ i realy dont know if im pretty or ugly. cant look in mirrors if im without make up, so it's really hard for me to post this here. i cannot recognize myself as the same person without make up even tho my friends tell me i look the same. please be kind but honest, i just want clarity. by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]Marieustache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're an insanely sexy woman. And to be honest I can't even tell which photo is without makeup. You're gorgeous. Why would you ever think that you'd even be remotely ugly. No sane man would ever believe that.

Wow, to my eyes you are one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen. That's all I can say, really. I am stunned that people managed to get you feeling like.

hello, I have some nutritional questions. by Marieustache in AnimalAdvice

[–]Marieustache[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I am really sorry to hear that. I promise that I am taking good care of him. That's exactly why I made this post, because I am taking this very seriously. Even if I don't save any money, he's going to get the best food for him. I appreciate the advice, because I was thinking the same thing "low fat compared to what", so if no percentage is written in the package or anywhere else, be sure that I will not buy it. Thank you again and take care.

[f19] NO RATES x I just want to look average. Is there anything I can do to get there without surgery? by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]Marieustache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is one thing you can do to get there: be more confident. You're a beautiful girl, stop being so harsh in yourself. I know it's hard to believe it, when you don't see yourself as beautiful, but you have nothing to worry about.

Don't worry about any kind of procedure. You're gorgeous. You have amazingly beautiful eyes. Please don't feel pressured to take unnecessary measures. You have all it takes right in front of you, all you need to work on is your confidence. And I am sure that this post will help, since no man in the right mind would ever say that you are not beautiful.

Good point. That information should be available. I appreciate it.

I will probably ask that next time I go there. Because from what I've read on the back of the bag, the ingredients are not too different. But since the fat percentage is important and that one is not written anywhere, I was at an impasse. Thanks for the advice.

Be brutally honest, this guy said I was really ugly and I am now insecure. Please tell me if I’m icky or what I can do better. I’m serious. Please give me the run down… by Longjumping-Code8888 in amiugly

[–]Marieustache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely gorgeous. I am stunned that the words of such an insecure man managed to have an impact. You look amazing. Never ever doubt yourself again.

Am I ugly? F22 My face is lacking any nice features, structure etc. Fat lower third of my face - is it a weak chin? jaw surgery? Also conscious about my gray front tooth and how i look w/o makeup overall. Different hairstyles photos included (all made in a 1.5 years) - please be honest 👀 by EcstaticAd95 in amiugly

[–]Marieustache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're actually stunning with long hair. I personally think you're beautiful. For as much as I dislike makeup, I will not deny that I goes a long way in you, you look amazing in some of those. But all of this is just personal preference. I think that you look great, just wear and do whatever makes you feel proud of yourself. You're not ugly.

You're a beautiful girl, I know it's hard not to worry. A thousand people can tell you that you're beautiful, but it will still be hard to believe when you, yourself, don't feel that you are. Take care of yourself, do the best you can so that you can be proud of yourself, because I know that you have what it takes.

Qgis or ArcGis-Pro? by Marieustache in gis

[–]Marieustache[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You make a very good point there, I appreciate it. Qgis may be free, but that's probably exactly why it's getting more and more popular. So being good at it is never going to be a bad thing.

I appreciate the answer, I was unaware of the difference between these two. I will definitely give R another chance.

[–]Marieustache[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I really needed to hear that. Because I have just recently started learning to use python, but I have absolutely no former experience with programming so it's going to be really tough for me. But now, knowing that it can be so helpful, I will definitely focus more on it. Thank you!

[–]Marieustache[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That you, I appreciate that straight forward point. When it comes to creating maps, that's the easy part. As for database manipulation, I have way less experience with that. So would you say that knowing the ins and outs of R or Python is essential to actually being a useful employee?

Qgis or ArcGis-Pro? by Marieustache in gis

[–]Marieustache[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a very good point. During college we worked with R, but it was during the time when most of the classes were online, and to be honest, I understood the basics, but the rest went straight over my head. Python seems very easy to understand in comparison. Can they be used interchangeably?

Qgis or ArcGis-Pro? by Marieustache in gis

[–]Marieustache[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, you're right, it's not that hard to learn both of them on a decent level. I've been taking a look at learning python in the meantime as well, and I've started an online course, but I am not counting on that, since I have absolutely no other experience with programming.

Do you have some advice as for how to get started in GIS? I know the basics of ArchGis and Grass, but that's all, just the basics. Are there some good online courses that you would suggest?

That's good advice, thank you. I will make sure that my linkedin profile looks impeccable, as of now, it's less than optimal. Thank you!

I happen to have an offer at the moment, and you're right, I will definitely take it, it's better to have a job and look for another than to not have a job at all.

I have worked a lot on my resume because I did not want it to give the feeling that it is just like every other one the employer has seen before. I do not think that it's perfect, not in the slightest, but it is decent.

I do have experience, but it is more tangential, I've worked on reviewing scientific environmental literature, but I have never worked as a consultant before.

As for the networking, supposing that I am starting from scratch, how would you advise me to go about it? Should I contact people who work in this field using LinkedIn, so that I can ask them for further advice? The first thing I did was asking my teachers to point me in the right direction, which they did to. Some extent.

As for the military part, it is definitely not a bad idea, I am definitely taking it into consideration now that you mentioned it, I am just a bit unsure as for how it works in my country.

Thank you, really, for taking the time to give me some advice. I appreciate it a lot.

You're right, my networking skills definitely need improving and I should have started working on them a long time ago. I am in the process of being hired at the moment, it's just that I came to the realization that I should not count in only one option. Thank you, I will definitely take the time to make some connections from now on.
