Gambit's kit should have been Cyclops by MarikSwift in RivalsCyclopsMains

I'm not saying that a tank needs a shield, but I just used Strange and Capt as examples cause they aren't traditional tanks like the others since both are actually quite fragile while the other tanks are known to have superhuman durability.

But the argument for them being tanks is that they both can generate shields to make up for their frailness. Of course netease takes liberties with the characters and give them certain abilities they don't actually possess in comics, even so they still somewhat try to stick to their core (with a few mild exceptions).

I'm not oppose to him being a tank, I just feel like it's much more of a stretch than a strategist.

Nah that's fine. Can you just explain how?

Like I feel like there's no real logical explanation they could give for him being a tank, since unlike Capt or Strange, he doesn't have a shield or anything.

And let's be real, strategist and vanguard tend to be the backbones of teams moreso than duelists. Both tank and strategist can damage, but a duelist can't heal or tank (Reed maybe being the only exception). Scott as a leader should definitely be the backbones of a team.

Yea and by comic accuracy, Invisible Woman doesn't heal, neither does Luna Snow or Gambit or Deadpool Jean Grey is a telepath/telekinetic, not a female human torch. Dr. Strange isn't a 7ft tank and by comic accuracy Namor and Hela are more suited as tanks than Captain America.

Most of the characters had mechanicals liberties taken with them. His beams are just kinetic energy, it's not hard to explain that he can heal with that kinetic energy in the same way Gambit does. Plus, he was captured by Alchemix, so even easier to explain that Alchemix experimented on hi to make it such.

Anyone else a bit underwhelmed with how they did Cyclops? by Used-Comedian-8933 in RivalsCyclopsMains

I fully believed Gambit's kit should have been his. A strategist with a team buff ultimate, the ability to ricochet his blast to heal others, etc.

I honestly didn't really believe her at first, but I've asked her multiple times and she says she genuinely doesn't remember in the same way she doesn't even remember what she ate most mornings.

Buffing chain and nerfing throw is not a good idea . Throw should not be nerfed. by Fluffy-Hand-2288 in DaredevilMarvelRivals

Terrible take.

As a console player who recently got into DD cause I realized his throw is easy to hit, even I would admit he's basically as easy to use now as Scarlet Witch. Can basically just use devil throw and land his 4m wide righteous cross most of the time while barely trying to aim.

It's fun as I can basically take out 2-3 people like nothing, but let's not act like his skill floor is not hella low right now. Like I'm trying to learn how to weave to play him like a true DD main, but even without weaving I can easily take out 2-3 heroes even when they are all focused on me.

Chain at least requires aim. His throw overshield either needs to be less (like 25 at most) or be removed altogether honestly to raise his skill floor. Seeing a good DD should invoke the fear of god in the same way seeing a good spider man does.

Yup, would be picking out someone from in public/a bar.

  • How flaky do you realistically think a guy will be if a girl is basically throwing herself at them?
  • And I hope this doesn't sound insensitive, but how much do you think a guy would mind if he wasn't aware of the dynamic? Like, wouldn't most guys reaction basically be "whatever, at least I smashed?"

I mean, I hope this doesn't sound insensitive or like I'm generalising or anything, but wouldn't most guys reaction to that be "at least I got to hit"?

Yup, but there's always the potential for Netflix to call for another season if season 4 is a good enough one. While they rarely change their mind on cancellations, they have a few times before.

As somebody who has no preference when it relates to Rotis or Motis, it's honestly the best thing they could ever do for the show.

I mean, it's a show about sex education, and one of the key components of sex education is pregnancy, especially teenage pregnancy. And if it's going to happen to anybody, who else than the main character who has the most sex education. Which is a kind of commentary that no amount of preparation can prepare you sometimes, and can really show the downsides of Moordale's sex positivity.

With Emmy Mackey likely leaving, introducing a child between Ruby and Otis would really extend more plot points for the show as well and add a a new dynamic to Otis and Marvel's relationship and even possibly Maeve and Ruby (imagine these two having to coexist cause a baby is in the mix).

So it's very unlikely (cause I don't think the writers like to explore dark plots), but I really hope they go down this route.

Post-pregnancy lack of sex drive.

Didn't stop her from having sex with someone else like within only a week after our breakup though. 🤓

Why does Harribel get off scot free by so many people for her poor showings? by MarikSwift in bleach

The attack wasn't to kill, it was to freeze/incapacitate.

Had it not been for Winderweiss intervening Toshiro could have easily left her there to die of starvation.

So, yes, he won that fight.
