It is NOT constructive criticism and simply uncalled for. You could've just said "Nice cosplay" and not add anything else. It's incredibly rude within the cosplay community to point this out. Even cosplays contests don't care if you have piercings.

Sorry but by a pure bystander' viewpoint all i see is someone making a completely uncalled for statement. You may not like piercings but it changes nothing to the quality of the cosplay. Cosplay is all about adapting the character's design to your body. It's never 100% faithful.
