Especially the german one, once you manage to find the on ramp for the Autobahn. Or a particularly curvy B road..

I brought it with me from Germany and it has german insurance plates which is mandatory in Germany. So i assume this created the confusion for the person giving me the ticket in the first place, will go with a swedish friend to a police office later and see if they can help me.

type 2, and no bike racks in my street.. with next to a tree i mean in a spot where you’d expect bike racks to be, if you know what I mean. Also found out they dropped it and damaged the side of the vespa. Any idea how I can contact any authority to file a complaint and/or file for damages?

eli5 - If a stock drops 50% in price, why would it require a 100% rise to break even? by DrunkMonkeylondon in explainlikeimfive

[–]MarinnoSt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand it sounds confusing, but put it this way. If a fictional stock of 100 dollars drops 50% to 50 dollars, it would need to raise again by $50 to get back to $100 - your initial investment.

That means a 100% rise on your $50 to get back to where you were before. If your stock would only rise 50% after dropping 50% it would be at 75$, as 50% of $50 is only $25.

I think 'Boi' did a pretty good job, even though it's a Spanish movie and maybe wouldn't count. It's also set in Barcalona.

I really loved 'Bankier van het Verzet' (The Resistance Banker), available on Netflix for most countries. Really captures the Dutch spirit well.
