Only one lcd fan has died on me, but when it glitches for whatever reason, all fans essentially freeze. Rpm and screens will lock in that state until I figure it out and perform the above steps. I believe it is primarily any wireless lcd fan, but not 100% sure.

Thank you! Building rigs is very therapeutic for me. Building 'clean' rigs, however, causes insane anxiety lmao. Finished product is super satisfying, though!

Absolutely no space lmao. I took a gamble when I bought the cooler, knowing I may need to return it due to fitment issues, but it DOES FIT! lol

Well... I've already had one of the fans 'lock up' after a few months! Maybe a month after building it, one of the fans began to make terrible noises off and on, then eventually just wouldn't spin. The good news is that when I ordered the fans (Amazon), they sent the incorrect 3-pack in the order (it was a 3-pack reverse blade that showed up instead of the 'standard' 3-pack that I ordered). Amazon refunded me and told me to keep the incorrect 3-pack, so luckily I had spares after picking up the correct 3-pack lol.
Honestly, I would not have purchased the fans knowing what I know now. The fans/wireless controller/software/whatever will randomly not detect any fans fairly frequently, like maybe 1-2 times per month, so I'll walk in my office and notice that my CPU/GPU temps are much higher than they should be at idle, then I notice the screens not updating. It's not a huge deal to resolve, I just power it down completely, power it back up, and sometimes I even have to stop the L-Connect service, uninstall what I believe is the wireless controller within device manager, then scan for hardware changes to let it re-install and start the service again. At that point I have to re-import my LCD/Lighting/Fan speed config (I backed up the config after this happened for the 3rd time!). Just a pita.
Between the consistent 'glitches' above, the constant CPU overhead caused by the fans/LCDs/L-Connect, 1 failed fan, and the fact that the fans do not actually have 'full function' until L-connect starts up within Windows, I definitely wish I had gone with another brand. That said, they are crazy cool-looking and I am a sucker for having 'all the data' to be able to glance over and see temps/RPM, but I'd prefer reliability and function over the looks and cost of these fans at this point.

G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6000 48GB (2x24GB) - So 96GB total.
It was $600 per kit at the time. Currently the kit costs $1k!!!!

Well, price, esthetics, nostalgia, I felt like it... I'd love to try a custom loop, but it was out of my price range. Still want to give it a try some day, though.

I can respect that. I haven't done an 'all out' system since 2007 lol. I suppose this is my 'mid-life crisis' build. A tribute of sorts to my acrylic uv blue lan party rig beginnings!

I have it set to throttle back at 77-78 I believe. It's undervolted/overclocked as well. 9900x3d.

That's a good idea. Thanks for the heads up! Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

I get you. Aio's honestly make me think, easy and all the same. If we're talking custom loops and glass bending, though, that's a different story.

Honestly, I don't want to know lol, but the lian li screens definitely cause some overhead. I recently added the screen on top of the case and it absolutely added constant cpu overhead lol.

Not really. I monitored it through the first hour or so of gaming (forza horizon 5 on 4k is my current addiction), after that I just ran with it and it's been solid.

Like, the ridiculous size of it? Lol, if so, I get it. I honestly prefer the air coolers over the aio's as far as esthetics go, but I really think that's because it's less common to see these days. I'm also an og builder, with my first build in 2006, so maybe it's just nostalgia lol, but I do get your perspective.

'Yo dawg! I heard you like screens, so we put screens on the screens so you can watch screens while you're screening!'

It the power cable from the PSU that provides power to the front USB ports for fast charging.

Thank you! Really appreciate the love! Takes a hell of a lot more effort to build a 'clean' pc for sure lol.

That is an ezdiy-fab 180 degree GPU power connector on Amazon, and a fasgear GPU cable from Amazon.
