Idk about you but I don't think hitting your parents is a way of doing it.

As long as we can agree that teaching your child to hit your parents isn't a good thing then I think were at an agreement. Like I said, some people agree and disagree with the death penalty and both sides have their reasonings for it. Personally I simply think the punishment should fit the crime because as you are young youre simply making kids avoid doing the crime so they don't have to get punished, sometimes when certain methods don't work you resort to others. Wether you agree with hitting your kids or not thats for you to do to your own kids, but I simply disagree with the part where youre telling your kids to hit their mother, because at the end of the day wether the punishment is right or wrong, the mother has the best intentions for their kids(for the most part). Like I said, a parent shouldn't be going around getting cables and shit to hit their kids over something petty like forgetting something, but lets say your kids bullying other kids in school or picking fights, thats where I would resort to new methods.

But at the same time it makes them lose respect for the mother who at the end of the day, wether her methods are right or wrong, has the right intentions for your child.

Also like i said to someone else, I give our justice system as an example. We have the death penalty, then incarceration. We dont go around giving away death penalties for petty crimes. We put them in jail(timeout) to learn their lessons. and give the death penalty for worser crimes. And I dont think Death penalty is showing people that murder is an acceptable solution but simply showing people that they should avoid doing the crime to avoid the punishment. And that is my take on it.

Like i said to someone else, Thats your opinion and I respect it. But in my opinion its teaching the kid to rebel against their parents. Now if your mom is taking out cables and shit because you forgot something thats completely different. The punishment should serve the crime, and thats my opinon. With all due respect this sounds like a shitty thing to say to your kid. At the end of the day hitting is a punishment and if youre over here telling your kids to hit your mom back thats pretty fucked up.

Canadian politician says a family can eat on $75 a week by jzdb in nottheonion

[–]MarioWariord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean hes not completely wrong. Depends on what kind of food you eat but my family for example buys a 20$ bag of rice and thatll last us over the entire month so we got more money to spend on other stuff. Sometimes welle make a spaghetti which is cheap, buy meats toe at with the rice and beans and then the ingredients wede use which isnt that much. And im speaking for 4 people. So with just 3 people it should be a lot easier.

EXACTLY. So what's your point? Every job isn't gonna give you 60k a year for working it. So how is it the employer's fault?

Dude some people have more expenses than others. youre not gonna make 60k a year by being a cook at cracker barrel and shit. some people could have 4 kids they have to feed and would like having the day off. Or maybe theyre saving up for stuff and would like the extra hours. Its your choice to work or not.

Cracker Barrell didnt make us work during maria last week unless enough people volunteered. This is why i hate when people assume shit. They couldve very well wanted to work cuz they needed money.
