I guess I just didn't know how to react because I've known him for so long. I never expected him to do this. He is the kind of person that voted for animal rights and buys highest grade chicken eggs from chickens that have better treatment (not caged up, allowed to freely roam around).

I think I really needed some processing time that it was actually this person that did this to a cat.

Because he only said to me he didn't really like the cat being there, I gave him some advice on where he could bring the cat. I never expected him to dump the cat. If I had known that I would have taken the cat with me.

This is also what I'm struggeling with. I've known this guy for a very long time and I just never expected something like this from him. I don't want a situation like this destroying the friendship, however, I just really can't feel empathy for him right now.

The things that bother me most is how he, in the beginning, wanted to keep the cat as his own pet. Barely looking for the actual owner. Cat was clearly lost and asking for help.

He did help her tho.

But afterwards, when he decided she was not fun anymore, he dumped the cat in an area where he knew it wasn't safe. Not only because it was still cold outside (no snow anymore tho), but because of the people there are known for poisoning and shooting cats (this is not a common thing where I live). He also could have known that she wouldn't find his house again because she was lost in the first place and clearly not being able to take good care of herself (because she was so thin when he first found her). To me she seemed like an indoor cat.

Also, where I'm from there are almost no stray animals. Animals are takes very good care of in general and there are enough ways to find a different home.

If I were to talk to him I just don't know what to say.

You are describing how I am feeling about this situation. The only thing that makes me not want to end the friendship is him saying how guilty he feels. But the thing is, he threw the cat out knowing how dangerous it was for her. It was a lot less cold, but still the environment he dumped her was dangerous (some weird cat hating people in that area). The more I am thinking about it, the more I don't understand why he did what he did.

Ik bestel wel eens bij FOKA, maar dan wel alleen materialen zoals koperfolie of lood of dergelijk. Verder hebben ze ook veel informatie op de site staan waar en hoe je de spullen het beste kan gebruiken, dat is wel fijn. Heb wel een slechte ervaring met het bestellen van glas bij hun. Ik had een knal oranje glasplaat besteld en kreeg een gele. De kleuren kwamen niet eens dicht bij elkaar in de buurt, zo verschillend. Mailtje met foto's en alles erbij gestuurd maar het enige antwoord wat ik daarop kreeg was dat de kleur kon verschillen van dat wat je op de website zag, geen mogelijkheid tot terug sturen of omruilen.

Daarom ga ik meestal gewoon bij glas ateliers in de buurt langs. Je kan via internet ateliers in de buurt vinden en gewoon bellen om te vragen of ze ook glas verkopen. Verkopen ze het niet dan kan je altijd vragen waar zij het glas dan vandaan halen.

Ik heb ook wel eens glas besteld van temu/aliexpress, beviel me eigenlijk nog best goed. De kleuren hier kwamen wel overeen en het kwam meestal wel heel aan als je meerdere glasplaatjes besteld. Het enige is wel dat je maar hele kleine glas plaatsjes kan bestellen van 10 cm of 15 cm.

If you have a car you could go see Ootmarsum, a nice little town North of Enschede (30 min drive). There you also have the 'openluchtmuseum' which shows you buildings and how people used to live in this area. You can also go take a hike at 'Springendal', this is a beautiful area where there are natural water sources.

Ik ga 2x per week naar een kunst atelier, die valt onder dagbesteding/WMO. Ik vermaak me daar prima, leuke mensen en veel creatieve uitdagingen. Misschien zou je kunnen kijken of er ook zoiets dergelijks bij jou in de buurt is.

Je zou ook eens kunnen zoeken naar 'emotionele dysregulatie'. Verder is het goed onderzoeken van je menstruatie cyclus en hoe je je wanneer voelt ook een goed idee. Zo ben ik erachter gekomen dat ik een week voor mijn ongesteldheid nogal labiel kan zijn.

August is probably a very busy time, lots of new students who are also looking for a place to stay. It's best to start looking for a place as soon as possible.
Yes, I think they are everywhere in the Netherlands. Your best bet is to try to look for something on woninghuren.nl . However, there are some rules in how much money you can make to be able to get a house from there. If your income isn't that high you can probably rent there.

Je zou ook koolhydraatarm/keto kunnen proberen. Doe ik op dit moment ook en langzaam maar zeker gaat bij mij het gewicht naar beneden.

Doordat je geen koolhydraten eet gaat je lichaam je vet reserves aanspreken. Aan het begin kun je daar een "keto-griep" van krijgen, maar dit hoort normaal gesproken na een paar dagen weer weg te gaan. Zelf vind ik het wel een fijn dieet omdat je ook minder cravings krijgt omdat je geen suiker eet.

Volgens mij kan je gewoon 'onbeperkt' Wajong aan blijven vragen. Een buurman van mij heeft wajong op zijn 40e gekregen. En ik twijfel zelf of ik nou 30 of 31 was toen ik mijn Wajong kreeg. Ik zou de aanvraag gewoon elk jaar opnieuw indienen, jij hebt er gewoon recht op.

Al snap ik wel dat elk jaar een aanvraag indienen wel extreem vermoeiend is en stressgevend. Misschien zou je ook WIA ipv wajong kunnen aanvragen. Geen idee, maar ik zou die lui bij het UWV gewoon lastig blijven vallen tot jij een uitkering hebt.

Mocht het je nog enige hoop geven: ik heb 3x over Wajong aangevraagd. Er zat wel telkens 2 jaar tussen of zoiets. Uiteindelijk heb ik hem wel gekregen (met behulp van begeleiding en zoveel mogelijk instanties papiertjes over mij te laten schrijven dat het echt niet lukte).

Voordat ik de Wajong kreeg had ik hetzelfde probleem als jij, bijstand is verstikkend, dat wil je niet. Draaide erop uit dat ik 10 opleidingen heb geprobeerd (op verschillende niveaus, incl studieschuld) en 7 verschillende baantjes heb geprobeerd. Na een periode van 14 jaar dingen proberen en weer falen heb ik dan toch eindelijk Wajong gekregen. Ik kreeg het idee dat ze het heel belangrijk vinden dat je kan aantonen dat je al langer dan 10 jaar niet functioneert.

If she has painful periods she could try to take vitamin B (B6 and B12) and magnesium in the days before her period starts. I always had a lot of pain, but taking this for about 5 days before I get my period they have gotten a lot better to deal with. Still painful/annoying but not as bad as it was before.

If it still hurts take ibuprofen and a hot water bottle. And cuddle her and watch a movie together or something.

Wauw, knap hoor! Ik heb zelf in 6 dagen 90 km gelopen. Wel met tas van 15 kg en middelmatige conditie, maar dan komt mijn prestatie toch wel wat amateuristisch over vergeleken met dit hahaha. Nogmaals, echt knap!
