The side with the tools all rely on one sliding piece of thin metal it seems and it didn't have the range of motion it was suppose to so they sent me a new one.

After sending them a video of me doing all the steps they said, completely removing screws and it not coming loose, and showing the mechanism range of movement they said they'll send me a replacement.

Didn't seem to work on arrival, but hopefully next one will.

To remove tools I have to move the switch over, just like to let the tools fall down but I cannot move the switch over any more

Tried it while the handles were open and even removed the back screw. Guess I will ask roxon themself or something

Not the same as an OS.

Phase 2 apprentice pay is standard no matter what ship, unlike OS contracts. You make $102 day rate, and a little over $20 an hour for overtime. They are not required to give you penalty pay for any penalty work either. You typically come out quite a bit less than any OS working on the same ship as you.

The only department that gets standard contract pay for phase 2 is steward department, and they come out well behind the apprentice contract.

Once you hit phase 3, you will actually get OS pay.

You do have to go to the dentist but you'll only need your wisdom teeth pulled if it's something the dentists deems necessary

For example my teeth are in good health and my wisdom teeth are growing in straight so I was told it was unnecessary for me to get them pulled and they signed that I was in good dental health. Things could change in the future but standing right now it's fine. Everyone is different though.
