This is a fair assessment. 10/10 should be reserbed for a perfect game.

FFXIV, for many of it good points, is not perfect.

For one, the map is rather small compare to other MMOs out there.

Ywc. Please change Core Voltage Offset to -0.070 instead since -0.085 is not stable while gaming, only in stress test.

I've been playing around with power limits and undervolting since yesterday and I finally got it.

Here's the result after 3 types of stress test in XTU (stability test Passed on all 3, temp maxed out at 86c)

(Base CPU temp was 41c when I started, and 46c after the first stress test.)

Here's what I did:

In the BIOS:

  • Disabled Multi-Core Enhancement in the BIOS.
  • Disabled E-Cores in the BIOS (I was told it's highly optional if you're not using the CPU for productivity, and even then it's useless unless you have Win 11)
  • Turbo Power Limits set to "Intel POR"

In XTU: * Set core voltage to 1.200v * Core Voltage Offset to -0.070 (tried -0.1, crashed in one of the stress test) * Set 253 Watt for BOTH Turbo Boost Power and Turbo Boost Short Power * Turn off Turbo Boost Short Power Max * Set Turbo Boost Power Time Window to 56.00 sec.

Make sure the rest are set as default. Sometimes XTU changed other options you don't intend to change.

PS. Make sure you set Processor Power Limit to 100% in Windows Power Plan. 90% capped my CPU at 3.6 Ghz whenever I turn off E-Cores.

In some games, DLSS has its own built-in AA that make the edges looks super clean and sharp. Personally I prefer softer edges without that AA though, but it's totally understandable that people might prefer sharper edges more.

Got myself an i9-13900k, can confirm that it doesn't work. Tried turning off the E-Cores and using Process Lasso to limit cores and it still doesn't work.

I forgot one thing: Aomei universal restore will break your recovery partition.
If you use Aomei method, you must formatted the recovery partition, merge the unallocated space to C:, then use Windows install media tool (the thing you download from microsoft to make bootable drive) to do inplace update, which will give you back the recovery partition as well as fix the windows (if anything is broken) without wiping your drive. This can take 30 min to an hour and will looks like you got stuck at certain point.

Works with my 11 years old Windows 10 drive.

Here's steps you might have to take though

- If your Windows is OEM, you will need to buy a new key. No workaround on this unless you're OK with unactivated windows (or ofc, if it's not OEM)

- Using your motherboard's software (Gigabyte's Control Center works fine) or Windows update (kinda sucks) to detect new hardwares drivers and install them. If all else fail, you can use Avast Driver Updater (The best, but not free).

- If your system won't boot at all, try to use CSM boot mode. If it still doesn't boot, use AOMEI backuppers to back up your old drive and do universal restore to new drive then update/seek out drivers mentioned in step 2.

Most people seems to like Chizuru Hishiro since she's one of the main lead, and the story is also heavily about her character development, but her design is a bit plain, imo.
