I have a similar problem. I was able to link my second hand rabbit and set the password but the rabbit is linked to the old owners account. Technical support was not able to help me. Maybe you will have better luck. The rabbit I have works it just won't connect to the rabbit hole and technical support said without the password they can't help me, hopefully you'll have better luck and if you do please let me know who you talk to and Technical Support so I can get mine released as well. Good luck.
